Literally every alert for "dangerous weather" immediately after saying "do NOT leave your house, but if you absolutely must go outside…"
Granted, I'm in texas. It only freezes for like a week out of the year.

They do this because some people really are that forgetful, or are elderly and have poor memory due to age. Thankfully the US has pretty standardized heating and AC in most buildings, but the EU sees around 300,000-400,000 deaths due to heat and cold each year, somehow.

They could do a PSA that you actually have to sweep the snow OFF your vehicle BEFORE you drive it. They could do it every time it snows and it still wouldn’t be enough.
