The first 1,000 people to use this link will get a 1 month free trial of (sponsor) Skillshare: https://skl.sh/nostalgianerd01211 ~ Time for some Thrifting UK Style! Today’s destination was AYLSHAM, at the Late One. A car boot that is, well… late. So that suits me! Of main note here are the Baoding Balls (Chinese worry balls) that I collected, along with a rather nice Sony Vaio neon red laptop. Mmmmmm, neon red. The usual crap here of course, but then, it is a British Car Boot Sale!

What's nice about this thrift shop series is that you still buy stuff. Last time LGR did a thrifting episode, he didn't purchase anything! I guess it goes to show how thin Goodwill's selection has gotten as of late.

That was steep for the laptops. I'm doing a boot sale soon I have a Dell Vostro 1500 with the original disks. I was going to show all my stuff working with an inverter. I was only going to ask £25, I better hike the price in case you decide to go on another spree. LOL I love these videos It's lke me on a virtual boot sale.

I find it quite satisfying to watch others sift through a but load of crap for the few hidden gems within. Sadly I have to ban myself from hoarding these days, it drives my wife mad. Not to say I still don't have my collection to enjoy though, oh for the love of retro gaming!

Don't you hate it when you go into a charity shop and see something you really are thinking about buying but think I'll get it another time.
It's still there about a month later yet the 1 day you decide to buy it they sold it the day before.
Talking about a real nice Bluetooth headset for £5 damned it's not the first time there was in the same charity shop a pc compatible drawing pad for £5 missed out on that too.

I got a bunch of 70's DCT annuals at a boot sale in the 90's, I read them to bits, I'd have been all over that Topper. And the lurid horror / crime / western / spy paperbacks, too.

Iv'e changed my mind today I had the best deal ever I went into my local second hand shop to browse their games and spotted a box full of Ps2 games the one that caught my attention was Time Splitters Fture Perfect I have heard a lot of good things about the Time Splitters franchise so I thought I would pick it up.
I asked the shop keeper how much ?
He replied £10 and I thought hell no and told him that £10 was a little steep for a Ps2 game he replied no it's £10 quid for the box the titles were
Hitman Contacts , Blood Money , Silent Assassin , call Of Duty Finest Hour ,Cally Of Duty 2 , Call Of Duty 3 , Timesplitters Future Perfect , The Simpsons Game , Grand Theft Auto III , Splinter Cell Chaos Theory , Just Cause , The Warriors The Godfather Brothers In Arms Road To Hill 30 , Finding Nemo , Sword Of The Samurai , The Pirates Of The Caribbean At World End and Prince Of Persia Warrior Within.
definitely a bargain looked on Cex no rare titkles there but still pleased as punch

My best find ever was in about 2012 went into my local RSPCA charity shop and picked up a Mega Drive,2 controllers and 20 games for £5.00 although when I got it home it didn't work had to do some tinkering turned out the the RF Tv cable was damaged quite an easy fix.
I played the hell out of that console .
