1:08 I love this version of the theme, Statler and Waldorf are Icons. 1:14 🎵To have to watch this show🎵1:41 A Banana. The Muppet Show ran from 1976-1981, It was the first 5 years of My young Gen-X life, You only missed the first year Nat. According to IMDb Seasons of The Show Juliet Prowse was The very first guest, and James Bond himself, Roger Moore was the last guest. 2:09 😻😻 Wow you do have red in your hair, i love gingers, how did you get away from the creeps. 🎵No more timing, each tear that falls from my eyes, I'm not hiding, THE REMEDY TO CURE THIS OLD HEART OF MINE, I CAN DREAM ABOUT YOU, IF I CAN'T HOLD YOU TONIGHT, I CAN DREAM ABOUT YOU🎵 I'd better stop the Serenade there, Don't want The Copyright Police on me. 🚓👮🏽👮🏽🚓: Stand where you are, hands on your head. Me: I didn't do anything wrong, I was just serenading a beautiful woman. Who are you anyway, The Copyright Police?. 🚓👮🏽👮🏽🚓: Yes we are and Tell it to the judge. Me: It was just the first few lines, and Serenades fall under Fair Use. 🚓👮🏽👮🏽🚓: Again tell it to The judge. Me: 😾, 🤟🏼 Nat, I'll call you from copyright Jail.

10:42 my mom would put me in front of inspector gadget while she got ready for work. She was a special Ed teacher and I would spend the day with her friend so I had to get up with her. Plus i had some eating issues due to a cranial facial disorder

I had totally forgotten about the adventures of little koala! I don't remember the theme song but definitely remember watching the show!

Kidd Video looks like a copy of _The Bugaloos_, which was a Kroft series. Look it up.

So I was in the audience for 2 episodes of the Mickey Mouse Club in May of 1992! Met Fred, who was extremely nice. Lindsey was my first crush!

1:07:58 Wait…that’s a British version? That’s what I remember in Canada…

One of the shames is that Americans never got exposed to some amazing Canadian children’s shows like Mr. Dressup, the Raccoons, and ESPECIALLY the Friendly Giant and Littlest Hobo. Though the last one maybe did get big enough to play in the US.

I suspect this certainly leans heavy into the effects of neural nostalgia. Essentially anything you were exposed to a lot when you were about 12-22 years old is going to be iconic. The peak is 13-16, and of course with children’s shows you’d have aged out of some of these (like me and late 80s). But those of us with younger siblings would still get exposed so it might last a bit longer. But for me, I was born in 72 so pretty much anything from 80-83 would probably be iconic…but I’m meh on pretty much anything 84 onward.

I'm an Gen X Aussie, and I've never heard of The Adventures of the Little Koala. We had Blinky Bill who's a Koala, but not this.

I remember when I told my nephew that Tennessee Tuxedo was also Inspector Gadget. That's true–both were voiced by Don Adams.

That's great that you are continuing next week. One night was not enough. Maybe we'll even have time for Square One TV and Landscape of Geometry next time.

I had to peek at the end to make sure MASK was included… now I can sit back and enjoy, knowing the best theme of the 80's is in its rightful place. Too many people forget it.

I also have and proudly own the Real Ghostbusters cassette! Sadly the theme song and the score is not on the cassette only the pop songs! Ray Parker Jr. does play guitar on two of the tracks! How cool is that!?

I recenty snaped a Jem and the hologams 8 cd box set which includes all the songs as well as the intrumentals from the show. Imported from Italy but all the songs are in english and it's in stereo! Plus bonus tracks that Britta Phillips recorded in 1984 just before she became the singing voice for Jem already sounding like Jem LOL!
