Anonymous vs Scientology – Tales From the Internet
Scientology had long been a target of mockery on the Internet, but it grew exponentially after an episode of South Park exposed more people to its inner workings. After they sent a legal threat to YTMND to take down a number of the sites that were made mocking them, YTMND’s owner, Max Goldberg upted the ante by creating a new section on the front page dedicated solely to making sites at Scientology’s expense. Among the jokes was a site called “The Unfunny Truth About Scientology,” which exposed a large audience to more serious scandals that Church had, including the Lisa Mcpherson case.
After YTMND had moved on without Scientology following up on its threats, 4Chan took up the mantle against Scientology with its Project Chanology campaign.

I feel like Youtube took a bunch of the videos down. Haven't they always had a more stringent system of DMCA than they have to have? For instance if you post a band's song. Youtube isn't required to act as restrictively as they do
This is ignoring the fact that maybe I as a DMCA claimant get to access all your (Anonymous) information like your real name etc

2:51 Isaac Hayes did not willingly South Park. He had a stroke and according to his son, his life was taken over by Scientology. They wrote the statement and quit on his behalf while he was incapacitated. He would have had to leave the show anyway because he of the impacts of the stroke, but they made it sound like it was because of Trapped in the Closet. He passed away a couple years later from another stroke.

Fun fact anonymous hacked either my Xbox or xbox itself because a few years ago I was playing Fortnite with my friends (don’t judge me) and Fortnite kept closing mid game and redirecting me to youtube (my Xbox has never done that) about a video about anonymous I didn’t watch it and told my dad he had like a winter soldier moment

According to Isaac Hayes’ son, Isaac had absolutely nothing to do with that statement. He didn’t quit South Park, his Scientologist manager/agent quit the show for him. Isaac’s son also says that Isaac still loved Matt and Trey, and it was only the pressure of the “church” that he walked away.
