    Quantum has some potential but way over hyped from what I’ve researched. Will probably be good at solving some very specific, very challenging problems, but for most calculations a traditional computer will be way faster.

The video likely unpacks qubits' superpower—superposition and entanglement enabling exponential parallelism for problems like factoring or optimization that grind classical machines—but the real insight is in the engineering bottlenecks: decoherence times still in milliseconds, error rates demanding thousands of physical qubits per logical one, and cryogenic scaling that makes a million‑qubit system a facilities challenge on par with particle accelerators. From a research angle, what's exciting is hybrid progress: NISQ devices already showing "advantage" in noisy optimization tasks via variational quantum eigensolvers, suggesting the path to utility skips full fault‑tolerance and goes through targeted, application‑specific machines.
