This idea that a soldier's only job is killing is incredibly offensive to our military. The US military builds, trains, teaches school, maintains, guards, computes, provides tech support, designs, provides medical care and critically, provides the first diplomacy efforts. And yeah, they also can do a lot of destruction. But this idea that the military does only that is incredibly insulting.
