We believe that paying bail for someone in need is an act of resistance against a system that criminalizes race and poverty and an act of solidarity with local communities and movements for decarceration. Over the next five years, The Bail Project will open dozens of sites in high-need jurisdictions with the goal of paying bail for tens of thousands of low-income Americans, all while collecting stories and data that prove money bail is not necessary to ensure people return to court.

It also helps when you're not packed up on fentanyl your entire life. Sometimes, however caused, whence come is wiped from the streets it's always a good thing

I’ve abandoned the concept of “racism”. Racism is a game born out of duality, i.e. us/them, friend/enemy, good/evil. If you are playing the game of racism, you will never prevail over the opponent. The most powerful thing that a person or people group can do is to identify with the opponent, to affirm: “I am this person or persons”. By doing so, the person affirming unity with the opponent has a quantum attractor field that is exponentially more powerful than the person operating in duality. Even the intention of the person operating in duality to commit violence against the person affirming unity will be reflected back at the person operating in duality, in ways they will not be able to handle. This also has the advantage that since the person operating in unity has not used force against the person operating in duality, there is no reason for the person operating in duality to blame the person affirming unity with the opponent of any action against them. The conflict that the person operating in duality will experience will be one sided…

“When two opponents meet, the one without an enemy will surely triumph”…

you quote people like fuqua who are marxist idiots. humans and reality is NEVER that binary. there will always be people in the middle, or have nothing to do with oppression. i’m not saying that police never treat black people differently; but again, the world is never that binary. for instance the pregnant woman that was shot by police. the next day footage surfaces of her pointing a gun at the cops. all the twitter comments are “it’s fake footage” “that’s a fake gun”.

chances are, if you’re doing nothing wrong or suspicious, you won’t have interactions with the police outside of a speeding ticket.

sure, a black person may encounter a racist person that does something to hurt there feelings; but so does everyone else, when they run into an asshole who wrongs them in some way.

black people are no longer oppressed by law. there are many wealthy and powerful black peoples that have made it to great lengths. this is the result of them assimilating.

you can name off many statistics saying that black kids/people don’t perform well compared to other races (ie. dropout rates, crime). this is a cultural problem. this is no longer due to them being discriminated against. yes, the Kennedy administration started very liberal social welfare systems (which is hilarious that you didn’t cover this, because it’s the #1 event in black american history) to quell the riots that were happening, which seemingly erased any chance impoverished black americans had at getting better. this is what happens when you don’t assimilate, don’t try to pave you own way, and demand reparations.

Black people have been talking about this since the very first time we learned to read and write in this country in a language that wasn't ours. It's just now white people have finally become nice enough to listen and I would even argue to a certain extent even the act of some wanting to listen now is almost done our of selfish desires to make themselves feel like they're Progressive or doing the right thing. Maybe that's just my cynicism but still.

I'm not sure what's with this idea that skin ought have an effect on what culture/rights/personalities are right for a person. There might be value in those suppressed cultures coming back but i see no reason to connect that to one's race. There are problems with our society but, except where people are discriminating based on race, those problems equally apply to all races. If it sucks for a black man to have to conform to societal norms them it equally sucks for a white man to have to conform the same amount, though i can see how a higher level of conformity might be a strategy a black man might need to avoid racism.

Of course that all assumes that people are roughly mentally the same regardless of race. But if that's not the case then it'll still be the case that some white people by generic lottery will end up mentally more similar to a black person and vice versa. And so given that you can't predict one's mind by their skin colour i think the preceding paragraph holds.

The white mask theory asserts that identity and culture are reliant on skin color and that people of a certain group act a certain way because they are that skin tone. It makes it seem like there’s no way someone could comfortably integrate into another society.

The same thing that happened to Floyd happened to Tony Timpa in 2016. You've never heard of him because he didn't fit the narrative. This WAS a class war in which the "haves" used racism to divide the "have nots". Divide and conquer. Police abuse of power knows no boundaries and won't be addressed until we acknowledge one simple truth. The only color that matters to those in power is the color green….

As a POC who was called as a "roach" due to his color for years I can confirm that this video was made for virtue signalling.

I'm just sad to see one of my favorite channels doing something like this.
