Apple Studios has been making some quality content (looking at you, Severance) and now they’ve launched themselves into the realm of sci-fi/horror/romance/shooter/action? The Gorge has a lot going on (none of it throat-related.)
The Gorge definitely raises some questions. Like why did they make them navigate over 40km if they wanted to keep the location a secret? Why aren’t the two snipers allowed to communicate on cooperative task with such high stakes? Why didn’t those spiders try to climb The Gorge? Why did the CEO show up at The Gorge to oversee unmanned drones?

I actually watched this movie a few months back, best way I could describe it would be a charming romance cosplaying as a run-of-the-mill action thriller

It would take some serious calculation to string up a zipline that could successfully transport someone both ways. Both ends would need to be at equal height and there would need to be enough cable to go down far enough to pick up enough speed to go back up on the other side and overcome friction.

I was wanting to watch this movie right up until the giant spiders were mentioned. Maybe I can just ignore them for the few moments they are on screen.
