that was very good but now what do we do about things like having armed islamists, all accross the region, funded by iran calling for the erradication of israel? or what do we do about the fact that israel is the only country there where different cultures can coexist and women and gays arent mercilessly killed or treated like * and maybe it's best for it to prevail rather than disappear and give its surrounding countries the opportunity of having a new target?
let me clarify first: i have no intention of justifying what israel has been doing, but the easyness in which you judge the acts of any people/country from the middle east is just insane. This is unsolvable, not even in 10 generations of peace. Stop picking sides.

Julie Nolke when did you become so anti-Israel? Iran admitted they had enriched uranium to 60%, thats way higher than necessary for civilian nuclear power. The Ayatollah and his government literally say "Death to Israel" in every speech, news show, public event.
As an Israeli, do you think this war was fun for us? As Canadian, do you lose sleep at night worrying that Israel may use their nuclear weapons on Canada or anywhere else? The Mossad has the best intelligence on the planet. This was a just and necessary war to remove an existential threat not just for Israel but for the entire western world. As Canada’s opposition leader Pierre Poilievre said:"that for Israel to prevent the “genocidal” Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons would be a gift by the Jewish state to humanity.”

Israel does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons because Iran has stated several times publicly that they want Israel's destruction, and if that's not enough, they also actively fund terrorist organizations that state the same things and have been attacking Israel regularly for years. Israel wants nuclear weapons because for most of its existence, Arab countries have been trying to destroy it, and nuclear weapons are a very good deterrent.
You see, it's not that complicated to understand simple logic, right?
