The Real Kashmir FC: How to Train a Football Team in a Conflict Zone? | ENDEVR Documentary

Watch ‘Dirty Football Business: When Humans Become Commodities’ here: https://youtu.be/sCGmr-r6uj0

For 90 minutes, people of the war-torn Indian region of Kashmir forget curfews and protests and enjoy normality. The rise of Real Kashmir FC has been a fairytale. It was created three years ago by a Kashmiri Hindu and a Kashmiri Muslim to show the ‘real’ face of Kashmir, with boys playing football and families cheering instead of the usual images of violence in this conflict zone over which India and Pakistan have fought two wars.

David Robertson – former Aberdeen and Rangers star – has left everything behind and moved to India to manage the team. It’s football in the danger zone. Can he make it work?

Fantastic documentary here. What a determined man in Coach. Wishing Real Kashmir all success in their games, and may there be bigger and better things in store for everyone. Cease the senseless violence in Kashmir!
