The supernatural tale of a person named John Titor, who posted to various Internet forums including Art Bell’s coast to coast am forums claiming to be a time traveler, is one that has fascinated people for over a decade. Although many of his predictions did not come true, the nature of his story can explain it. There are also many suspects as to who might have been behind the posts. I almost wonder if they were trying to do something like biblical prophecy. If you didn't know, prophecies like those in the books of Daniel and Revelation aren't meant to be taken literally. They were written as commentary about the past and (at the time) present and I wonder if that's what this person was trying to do as well.

i mean in doctor who, there is a conspiracy website on the doctor. and everyone thinks it's just a hoax in story, unless they've met him. i mean we are lacking pictures of john from difrent eras. if that was added, like siteings and shit, he might have been speculated about like a real life doctor who. whoever was behind titor tho, good job. great story and good fun. i wish we could have more fun little RPG and arg ish stories like this. just haveing speculative fun on the internet.

He was a guy playing pretend. He ruined it for the rest of us are actually here from another time. 😒
Now, no one believes us. Even when we can give clear dates of future historic events that will happen.
The reason why we arent believed is bc people once believed john. And john wouldnt/couldnt show any proof he was from the time he said.
I can easily show proof of what time im from.
If i showed anyone some of the things i brought with me from my time. It would blow their mind. Sadly, some dont work. Mainly bc the correct networks and info-structure hasnt been set up to run them correctly yet.
John would always tell people. He couldnt do this or that, bc if he did it will change something in the future. No. Thats not how it works. Major events will always happen. Everything that will happen, will always happen. The time line can branch off, but it will always end up back the way it was suppose to be. Liner.
Like i cant go back to 1943 and kill hitler. If i was to travel back then, and i tried to kill hitler. All my attempts would be thwarted. Bc hitler didnt die that year. If i did manage to kill him, our timeline would branch off, but go back to normal by the next major historical event.
And even if i killed hitler as a baby. Germany will still cause wars. Someone else would be the new hitler.
Im from a time where the outside layer of the earth is inhospitable. We dont live in cities or houses above ground.
We have cities etc below ground.
And it turned out that the moon is “man made.” Not by us. But it was made by another species. The moon is actually made of metal. And if you go inside it, its basically like a giant space station.
The US government knows about it. And no. The Earth has never had alien species visit. Those was all time travelers.
If another species did have the ability to visit earth, there would be a war.
And in the future Whang! Is still making content. He ended up cryogenically freezing himself. And we finally figured out how to keep people alive who did that in the year 3673. Whang! Is technically the longest living human and content creator. Even though the only part of him that is human is his head. The rest of his body is artificial. There was problems with past cryogenics, it didnt freeze the organs in the body properly, but luckily the brains have all been preserved amazingly.
I have 2 years left until i have to to back to my time.
When you travel in the past, you can only stay in the past for so long before you will be stuck there.

One blatantly obvious detail that exposes these claims to be a lie, is the fact that the people claiming to be from centuries into the future is that none of them speak with any expressions or slang that doesnt exist today.
The slang of Gen Alpha is mostly incomprehensible to Gen Xers so the slang used by people from even 50 years from now would be even worse, yet the timetravellers speak perfectly contemporary english.

It's funny how every supposed "time traveller" ever always makes lots of bold claims about apocalyptic bullshit happening in the near future. For once I'd love to see a "time traveller" go "nah it's mostly fine in the future, we get a few wars and catastrophes like usual but nothing world-ending".

I think it was a bunch of different IT nerds hacking the IP address & forums. They just studied some physics and theories from Hawkins, so that they can get in on the joke and attention that came from it. Either way it doesn't really matter because it's all crazy BS.
… I do believe in time travel but not in the way that most idiots perceive it. There's theories that you could go back in time by traveling at the speed of light in opposition of the Earths rotation. However we're talking only going back in time by hours, not years. Plus for obvious reasons involving the G-force the astronauts would have to endure is fatal.
…Then of course there is the wormholes theory, but that would completely lack any predictable outcomes. After doing so you would most likely end up nowhere near the Earth, making it impossible to communicate with our time (at that point time could cease all together as we know it, you could end up in a different dimension/universe, or most likely just just die).
…As far as using a machine to travel to a particular point in time, is just ridiculous. Interdimensional travel has more substance than any of this "Hollywood" BS perception of time travel. Time travel movies are incredibly fun to watch, but that's about it.
*… If you want a real scientific phenomena with reliable data and evidence to back it up, look up "The Philadelphia Experiment." As a matter of fact… @WANG YOU SHOULD DO A EPISODE ON "THE PHILIDELPHIA EXPERIEMENT!!!" that would be awesome

If I ever went back in time and somehow decided to go on a message board in 2002 I would probably not say too much about current events, I'll probably say yeah there will be a few words here and there but no world war 3 and then just talk about future media like
America's going to get another shot at making a Godzilla movie
Independent video games are going to explode in popularity in the late 2000's and onward
There's going to be a couple of more Spider-Man reboots and one of them is going to be animated
Nintendo's going to release a pretty mediocre console that will be sandwiched in between two consoles that people consider really good
A video posting website will come out in the next two to three years that will become immensely popular

8:19 Hearing in his right ear .. that means he shoots left handed. The negative hearing effect, is in your OFF HAND ear when using firearms without hearing protection.
Military and Police shotguns are difficult to shod left handed, as the ejected shell casings fly past, or hit your face. It would be very unusual for someone who shoots left handed to join a shotgun specific military Unit .. AND NOT be re-trained to shoot right handed like everyone else.
Just one fact but I assume the poster has no idea the offhand ear is the one effected.

I don't think him spelling "web site" as two words necessarily disqualifies him from being a time traveler. He made it pretty clear that in his timeline the world went to shit pretty quickly after the early 2000s. So the internet may have never become as big of a thing as it is here. So the way web site was written wouldn't have evolved in the same way, because no one talked about them anymore.
