The comments were more metaphysical than this video. This video was more psychology than I wanted. The title was only addressed as the last line in the video, and I don’t think this video did a good job explaining the title
Hey man I dont know if you care to read comments, especially on these old videos but dude, I fucking love you, thank you so much. Im sure youve received it from tons of people but thank you, your video on suicide saved me from killing myself. I was at a low, wanting to watch my last few videos to leave the world with, but your video popped in my recommended, I watched it. Your monotone calm voice had my listening to your words. Youre an amazing human being and I want you to know that very well. Thank you for making these videos. They help so many people, whether it be for suicide or a existential crisis, youve bettered this world, thank you.
brilliant video, you condensed hundreds of hours of sparse thinking I've had relating all fields of science, math, and engineering to all aspects of human existence and culture and life over the years, and why this is all significant to our purpose and meaning as things that exist, i've been in a choatic growing flurry of these thoughts for the last 5-6 months, a flurry that slowly organizes and collects itself over time but also adds new concepts of thought and continues to bewilder itself. But this is a nails on general consolidation of everything I was trying to piece together
Okay I need help as I do what the title of this video says hah. I am the universe, I am you. And Included in this are those sadistic malevolent people that do things that are wrong and know that they're wrong and enjoy it and don't care. that is me and you by identifying with the universe and this seems pretty obvious (As we are all the star dust yeah, yah feel me). SO.. How and why would I continue to be moral If I'm fighting myself (light vs dark, two sides of the same coin). Besides the fact that In my particular life, most of my family, friends and ex gf have been cruel abusive people with "personality disorders" (aka evil fucks) filling me with twisted aggression towards others and this world due to the sheer scale of repeated unfairness and pain applied to just me that has built up as I repress that with effort and intelligence to continue to be moral (try my best), not hurt others etc. What is the point If I am inherently evil by identification with these people anyway. Why don't I just become the manipulative intelligent evil chaos creator that lies a hair thickness away from the surface of my being. I'm like the tiniest bright light bulb inside a huge volcano… No cap lol. haha, Yeah if anyone could help with this question that would be great lol. Facepalm Because if you have a genuinely good answer, Jesus Christ fellow human because I've thought about this shit a lot for a very long time and can't see a point to deal with this demotivating fact without using delusion. Is that the answer, The only way to be happy in this world is to delude yourself, forget truth. Try and return to ignorance is bliss. surely not 🙁
I hate when People tell me something i do "doesn't matter" like i am not aware of the absurdity of the whole universe already, if you ask "why" long enough you will see how illogical and pointless all of our actions are, even the assumption that everything should make sense TO US.
As many of your videos deal with “making sense of life”, can you define what you mean by this phrase? What kind of sense do you think people expect? I intuit you mean why are we participating in life, & it seems obvious that it’s because we find ourselves here with nothing else to do.
