    8:40 – Sugar Problem:

Sugar dissolves in water, especially when mixed. Hence graph with less sugar then the start is correct answer.

It’s basically asking on the emphasis for quantity of particles and where they are placed for the answer when mixed around.

Yo! The X—Y—Z rock layers…. You were WAY overthinking it… Back up your POV on how mtns are formed to REMEMBER the lower the rock level, the OLDER in age b/c it was formed on Earth's crust FIRST…. Okay? Okay🤙

I’ve been going along and trying to answer too. I remember having to draw out the instructions to get my answer cause I’m a very visual person and the questions context made no sense without a visual. If I make sense!

8:56 the water and sugar are laid out in a pattern (across then continuing into the next line etc) bc only so much sugar can dissolve into a certain amount of water. That's my best assumption, it appears to be 1 then 2 then 1 then 2 if you read it in that manner

8:22 I know nothing of science.

There seem to be more water particles than sugar, D has the correct amount (based on the graphic from the beginning of the question) of particles of each and they're as evenly distributed as possible, which is important cause sugar is water soluble and it would become a solution, which has even distribution.

Are physics, chemistry, biology, and geography just combined into one "science" class in America?
The opening makes it feel like it mixes a bunch of unrelated things, how does one teacher cover all of that? 😅

The lower a fossil is in the layers the older the fossil is. What used to be the top layer for organisms millions of years ago is now underground for us. Think of it as a dirtcake. The first and bottom layer has been in the bowl longer than the top layer that was just placed 🙂

16:23, imagine that your pouring 3 different colored sands. pink at the bottom, yellow in the middle, blue you pour last, which one is the most recently poured? dont worry about the images, think about the layers themselves

As a person currently in the Florida school system i can say i sound exactly like Tugg when taking a test. 8th grade is making so much more sense than 5th grade ever did for me

These questions are written real stupid. Is this really what you guys have in your science books? It looks like it predates the internet by at least 30 years

Weathering means to wear something down. Erosion as you answered means to physically move and object with friction. The ocean can erode a beach because the the waves are physically moving the sand. The ocean would not weather a beach. The sun can weather furniture make it fade over time make it look older but it I wouldn't say my furniture got eroded by the sun.

I don't know, does that make any sense.

    Hope this helps. 😊

Here is an oxford definition of weathering.

the process of wearing or being worn by long exposure to the atmosphere.
