    The scene of pulling out the tube. It was very much like trying to birth her again without the problem the kid had. You know, like cutting and umbillicar cord and having talked about the abortion with having these toughts that what if that was the "right" kid. So now she is born again, while it is ofc a Massive mistake. Because she does not know how to cope with the not eating thing while lies even to herself that she is in control. When the husband sees what is going on, the abnormalizy of it all hits her Hard. After having been rude to Everyone trying to help and even hinting that she is not in control. Because she feels like she needs to feel in control.
    There being a lot with holes, like in the apartment, she has a hole she tries to fill with drinking and such, the daughters feeding hole and just kids.. birthing.

    Then I found it interesting how she kinda is in her way because she is a therapeut. Because the things she says to patients, she acts like yeahyeah I know how it goes yadayaaa and then disgards everything like she would not beleave in the methods. Kinda for not having given any new info on what to do with how to deal with all of it, so she is frustrated and does not do Anything she knows that works. So in tangled way the obvious methods have became like some self-help type writing on a wall like "Be Happy"

    She even goes as far as to defy the methods. Because there is parallers for example how she is towards Conan's character and how to the boy who is obsessed patient of hers. Like she says to the Conans character, really insists of telling the dream where is sexual undertones with them two. Then with the teen boy patient says that she does not need to hear those kissing dreams and dismisses him, just as Conan's older than her character does to her. To which she is dissapointed and asks why does he not like her. It is like a complicated thing where he does not want to get manipulated and be out of bounds and feels like she is going for that, with or without thinking that she is (more so is very desperate). Then he kinda does not want to be dragged into her problems while he is treating her, still he does come like into the baby situation and handles it super matter of fact kinda annoyed that he is needed for it way, because she is freaking out and could aswell handle it. Him just knowing that her personal life is mixing with the job, especially with that because it's a baby. So he does come to help while first is like.. hey, I have a patient, so not Now. Drawing some boundaries. There also Happens to come the teen boy and saying that it is His time with her and not the Conan's character who just tells him to get away or go wait. It is not an accident that he was in the scene. Because in some odd way she almost like looks the guy as some father figure way and propably thinks him age wise being kinda like the aborted baby's father by proxy in unconcious way. Since she says he is the only one she have told that and it is almost like told in a way of please give me pity and thru that to get him to go along with her self-destructive way of feeling like needing him. Him just totally disregarding her with saying that he knows what she is doing.

    It is kinda funny how she is so rude to everyone and the one person tired of her, she seeks his validation 😅 and a biit more. So she is nice to the almost only person who is not nice nice to her (the woman at the motel does not like her.. but that's about it).

    I love Rose Byrne I love Conan but this movie was ass. All the characters are unhinged and irrational/annoying in some way or another(including the daughter) It was like a really dark episode of curb your enthusiasm. Where every bad situation is made worst by crazy choices that could've been avoided if they were normal people. I was hoping there was going to be closure of some sort but it left me thinking there's no rationale to any of the characters or redemption arc. I had zero empathy for any of them.

    SPOILER ALERT: Everyone in this movie has legs 🤣 except maybe the hamster 😅

    All I'm saying based on all the press tour of the movie, is that Conan has a massive crush on Rose, which is very cute. Also, I mean who doesn't have a crush on Rose?

    It will be interesting to see Conan sunk deep into a dramatic role. And just because he didn't formally act on stage or in films before doesn't necessarily mean the director, cast, and crew couldn't help him to prepare a competent performance.
