I just remembered the awe i felt when Roger waters dropped the jew and coon, “getting them up against the wall“ line as a kid and going back and reading the lyrics on the sleeve to make sure that’s what i heard. Lol it’s not even my favorite pf album buts still such an amazing experience.

I find it odd and pretty hard to believe that a musician could reach their thirties without ever hearing a song off one of the most significant albums by one of the most significant bands of all time. There’s just no way a drummer who has been playing since childhood is only hearing this song for the first time now.
