    Atari needs to get in to the console business again, it seems they are building on old legacy consoles but compatible with today's HDNI connections and 4k screens basically people are buying what they played before that's it nothing else a smaller yellow 2600, i would love to a see real proper latest Atari console with it's own exclusive releases some blockbusters it might be a gamble but i believe they could pull it off because the way Gaming industry is these days, people want something different now

    I’ve been trying to play the PAC Man double feature with the wireless 7800 controller and it’s maddening. So imprecise. I gave in and ordered the red Blinky controller. Can’t wait to try it out

    If I have my old 80’s atari 2600 cartridge games, can I play them with this 7800 2025 console édition ?
    (I found my game box yesterday but dont have the console )

    As much as I love the look and nostalgia of the classic Atari joysticks, I hate the complete lack of feedback when moving the stick. I wish Atari would make a version with the exact same look but with microswitches. That said, I still bought all 5 colors of this one. Also, great video as always. Merry Christmas, Jon! 🎄

    My girlfriend just gave me this as a christmas gift, so I found this video while looking for game recommendations. My dad also just gave me two boxes full of old 2600 games from his childhood. I love the Pac-Man design, and being able to play my dad's old games cuz idk if I'd be able to find a display that worked with his old console. I might have to check out some of Atari's new 7600+ rereleases soon, and the homebrew stuff looks cool too

    I think it would be awesome if they released a six switch version of the Atari 2600+ that mimics the look of the original heavy sixer. I still have an all original 1977 version with the controllers that say Atari on them.

    Send out what us consumers can buy. Gets frustrating seeing these great kits we can't buy. It's like watching someone eating prime rib and we can only get a plain hamburger

    Another secret Easter Egg on a 7800+ cartridge, Pac-Man Double Feature. Reveal a new line on 7800 option page, 'Version' – select between Home or Arcade. Press Pause (or B•W on 2600+) to display new option line. You can Start a 7800 game in simulated 2600 mode with ability to choose all extra 7800+ selectable options like random maze, speedup, etc.
    The Stella bike may have old wheels but a fresh coat of paint makes it sparkle! in 7800+ mode.
    To show some 7800+ LOVE! hold UP on the pad, start the game and "Eat your heart out".

    How do we get this edition of it? The link only brings us to the standard yellow version with only one controller and not the cool packaging

    Hi John, with the new Firmware in the Atari 2600+ pac man édition, It is possible to play with thé Racing controller at Indy 500 ? Before buying the controllers, I would like to know thank you very much 🙏

    Missed opportunity to have a port on the Bluetooth joystick to plug in the paddle controller 😕 would be similar to how a classic controller plugs into a wii remote

    I was looking to get this but I made a FULL STOP when I saw the prices of their individual games : 56$. I mean.. Jesus Christ 😅. There's a limit at how much Im willing to bend over.

    Received mine last week.
    The packaging I received was nowhere near this. Rectangular box with no presentation like this.
    Only comes with the one yellow joystick. No pins.
    Also, the game cartridge box and booklet are silver bordered, not black.
    This one in the video has to be a promo.
    Not sad though, well….maybe about not getting a second controller and pins.
    Beware, the joysticks are VERY stiff and playing Pac-Man will be rough until maybe they wear in a bit.

    My wife got me the pacman edition, and an extra controller. The extra controller was supposed to be orange, but that's not the color controller that was in the box.. it was another yellow controller.

    I’d love to buy this just for the new mazes alone, but I’ve read that the joysticks respond poorly over wireless and sometimes even lose connection. Is this a common issue with these controllers? Or did a firmware update perhaps fix these problems? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

    I can't wait to get one. I love atari. One thing would be cool, like an upgrade. Idk if everyone would like it: if they made the image on the joystick of the controller a button.

    I just got mine from pre-order. I just got the system and the Pac-Man double feature game. I’m trying to figure out why the joystick is so stiff? Are they all supposed to be that way? I can barely control it.
