Hot and unpopular Pumpkins take: Adore is an incredibly underrated and under appreciated album. It’s like when people act like the Pixies fell off with Bossanova and Trompe le monde even though they’re both pretty fantastic records. I think they chose the wrong tracks to be singles but there’s a lot of gold to mine from Adore.
When Pat sang the Foreigner bit, despite my not having heard that song in at least 15 years, I went "that sounds a little flat compared to the original key." Now I'm wondering if I got the monkey's paw of perfect pitch, but only for Foreigner songs.
As soon as that guy brought up Rush, I knew he was gonna mention "The Trees," as the Rush fan in my life kept demanding I listen to it, even after I did. I'm so sick of hearing about "The Trees." I have one Rush CD, a 2CD set technically, Chronicles, and it has any songs of theirs I might ever want to listen to, and 20+ I never need to listen to again.

Just to clarify, Q is a CBC show. The original host was Jian Ghomeshi who had a big public downfall about 12 years ago, not charged but did some sleazy stuff. They've since had a couple of hosts like Canadian rapper, Shad and now Tom Power.
