Elizabeth bathory wasn't a serial killer. She provided health care for her townspeople which would've included midwifery and pregnancy terminations. So yeah, girls died. And once her husband died her wealth and lands were wanted by a broke king who was at war. So the charges were orchestrated against her allowing her money and lands to be seized.
