Actually, Brad Dourif has NOT been Chucky every single time. If you look at the 2019 Child's Play reimagining, Chucky was actually voiced by Mark Hamill. Yes, Luke Skywalker.

"Dourif has voiced him in every sequel, reboot etc since"

False. He refused to play Chucky in the 2019 remake, Mark Hamill voiced Chucky instead. The only time Dourif didn't voice Chucky

I dont understand why everyone thinks chucky is so terrifying.
I have seen childs play 2 since i was 13 and didnt find it scary at all. Chuckys appearance isnt scary to me not even when hes slowly turning human.
I think hes super cute and i could never be scared of him.

Hold the F up!!!! I know I’m super late. That’s his daughter!???????!!! I always thought “how weird that chuckys new body looks just like his original body”. This is blowing my mind.

This was the movie that started my journey into horror. Well, Chucky and Freddy. I've been watching horror movies for the last thirty-seven-years, and I'll forty next month. Would love to meet Brad Dourif or Robert Englund.

I hated these movies with a passion, but my mom always made me watch them as a kid because she loved cheesy horror movies like this.

Still to this day I absolutely HATE slasher movies, and I'm pretty sure this movie played a major role in that

This has always been a common misconception in the Child’s Play fandom — that the My Buddy doll was the sole inspiration for Chucky. But that’s not entirely true.

Another doll, Corky, released around 1986–1987, was actually much closer in appearance to the Good Guy dolls seen in the film. Corky was manufactured by Playmates Toys and featured an animatronic talking mechanism. The doll was voiced by child actor Edan Gross — the same actor who voiced the Good Guy dolls in the original Child’s Play (1988).

So while My Buddy did influence Chucky’s basic “kid companion doll” concept, Corky provided a much stronger visual and stylistic resemblance to what we ultimately saw on screen.

Andy was the cutest, yet most precocious little boy in that movie, and it makes me pretty sad they told lil man he was the reason his parents were divorcing just to make him cry 😂 😂 😭

Chucky was supposed to die and stay dead he said the more he stayed in the body the more human he became and they shot him in the heart he wasn't supposed to return

This movie was made after the writer and director, tried to make a series out of chucky. The series lasted a total of 8 episodes, and was canceled due to very low viewing. These series was attempted in 1984.

Chucky is my all time favorite horror franchise. Can’t wait for the next movie to come out and hopefully a continuation of the cancelled show.
