love your enthusiasm regarding music/vinyl. you've made me explore new artists/bands etc. but on another note, and maybe you've explained in a previous video your rather unorthodox audio equipment set up. speakers backed to the wall, turntable on the same piece of furniture. maybe you do it for tidiness for the vids, but holy cow you're missing out on sound quality big BIG time. watch some set up vids, possibly your space does not permit it.

Featuring a Hawkwind comp and not Motörhead’s Ace of Spades is criminal.. DK Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables probably a big miss too. Tatsuro Yamashita’s Ride On Time def a 1980 gem worth adding to the collection as well. Fun list overall -thanks

I’d absolutely add “Jeopardy” by The Sound. Not only is it a fantastic debut, but Adrian Borland exposes a raw and vulnerable part of himself through the beautifully aching songs they create that I heavily relate to. They are my most personal band. R.I.P. Adrian and Colvin

Great video, I will definitely give that Tactics album a listen! My addition to the list would be "Permanent Waves" – one of my favourite Rush albums which also has one of their most underrated tracks: "Jacob's Ladder".

You definitely have to dig out a copy of Kaleidoscope by Siouxsie and The Banshees (as well as the two other McGeoxh era albums). Speaking of McGeoxh Correct Ise Of Soap by Magazine is essential. Pauline Murray and The Invisible Girls is another classic from this year too. Other comment that mentioned Boy by U2 is also spot on.

    Thumbs up on the vid!
