Trans people are also massively cooked by the SAVE act :)! Especially because of the massive issues with being able to change your passports/birth certificates now. My id does not match my birth certificate and I know plenty of trans people in the same boat who cannot change their birth certificates either now.

This might not be an interesting take but my Nana used to always complain about how young people dont vote, HOWEVER, I am in college and cannot feasibly get back to my home town on the traditional November 2nd date because College classes DO NOT have election day off. My only option is tank an absence for my classes that are already fast paced and difficult or try and figure out how to get home and back in a day if mail in voting is no longer an option in the future. And this is ignoring the fact that people my age rarely mail anything and already have to go out of their way to print out papers, buy stamps, find envelops, and google how to properly address said envelope.
(Yes I understand google exists Im just saying it is unmotivating to a lot of my peers)
    Context:
I think my ability to vote is inportant especially given that they are trying to jerrymander my county specifically as its a larger city in a mostly rural area.

This has happened before in the US. Look at the Fugitive Slave Act and how that played out. Also look at the McCarthy period. The slavers have always been at war with the Republic. How did we allow the oligarch slavers this wealth and power over government?

There should be another level – "Cool Zone" – you know, arresting/shooting all elected non-Republican officials, declaring all other parties illegal, or simply ruling by decree via military force.

    Genuine question:
Are birth certificates issued only once and is it illegal to get a renewed copy of it?
Where I live you get a certified copy of the logs of the city you're born in, and it gets updated by adding notes in the margins in chronological order
But the thing is: you can ask for a renewed copy whenever you want, and even if you lost a document (like for a wedding) you would still have a proof of it with your certificate

Reminds me of that scene from Robocop where the guy who lost a re-election bid is holding the mayor hostage and he lists among his demands a recount, and then no matter how that turns out, he wants his old job back. Trump isn't going to let a little thing like rules (in this case laws and founding documents of the country he claims to love) get in the way of him and the levers of power, including levers of power that don't exist.

As a citizen of a civilized nation, I cannot understand how your elections are so disorganized. In Chile, we all have a document that identifies us in every formal action, and we are encouraged to carry it with us at all times, in our wallet. That same document allows us to vote (you can get it even if you are not a full Chilean citizen yet). Also, we count ballots without machines: we divide voters into "boards" managed by 5 members, we vote on this board, and then these 5 members are responsible for counting the ballots. At the end, all of this information is assembled by a state agency independent from the government. We can count 6 million votes in 1 hour if it is only one election, and we have one of the most accurate counting systems on the planet. And we do it with only pen and paper.

"Voter Lottery" the state contributes $1 for every voter who votes; $0.50 to the voter's voting district and $0.50 to a statewide pot shared by X # of people.

Can anyone provide links to conservative created studies the show election fraud is a hoax… Because every time I say the studies and stats say election fraud is not happening they always give me a look that says "yeah right Democrat libtard studies, but they are bullshit" I need to point to a known conservative organization in order to break them of this phantasm.

I have a hard time seeing how one could stretch logic to think that doing something blatently against the constitution could possibly be within scope of his duties of office, after all, his duty according to the constitution is the ensure laws are FOLLOWED.. then again, if anyone could stretch logic, its definetly this supreme court

As someone from a country with a functioning democracy and one of the most secure electoral systems on the planet, it's strange to me that you think counting ballots by hand is unreliable, it works just fine for us here in Australia. And the idea that voting machines are more trustworthy after the last 30 years of US electoral history is laughable.
