I’m all for holding law enforcement accountable for despicable behavior, but abolishing jails and prisons is absolutely ridiculous. Where do you put murders, rapist, child molesters etc. ? This is not realistic. Don’t listen to this BS. God forbid this young lady ever has a situation where she needs the police, I guarantee you she will be calling 911 expecting the police assistance.

I don’t understand why people were able to understand that Walmarts new security system was a result of corporate greed more than of shoplifting, but everyone thinks that everything being locked up at cvs is more the result of shoplifting than corporate greed. They are the same greedy attempt to maximize profits and continue to raise prices and not raise wages without experiencing consequences

39:00. Yeah, but sometimes there are violent crimes that must be punished. As we know in this world and all the wars we’re in. Not everyone is good. Some people are too far gone and actually LOVE evil and take pleasure in doing it. There’s no rehabilitating those people and must be locked up.

Everything about this interview was great except for one thing, I do wish she would have just answered Andrew’s first question in regards to prison abolition. I am very much for large scale prison reform and possibly abolition, but she did avoid that question which is a little weird. That’s gonna be one of the first questions people will have about this topic, I wish she would’ve at least put a bit of effort into answering it.

So I guess we just don't talk about the murderers, kidnappers, peders, etc. We just give the a psychiatrist to talk to? It almost sounds like we should feel sorry for people who commit crime. Take a look at how well not holding someone accountable for there actions works in the public schools.

In jail the juggalos have to run their own program like a separate entity gang, when I was in there the juggalos were "green lit" I think. But let's be real they have a big following and like they gays in there they are a gang to be reconed with even as PC in the right jails.they still are PC..which means they have to run protective custody "(PC)" which is a no no in there also as you hang with pedo's and weirdo criminals) so to general population "(GP)" greenlight means they are not protected from normal rules, and are targeted for violence as they are "green lighted"

the fact that they issued a protective order against that man's son without him even asking for it, while people practically have to beg to get (and often still just don't) restraining orders against their stalkers or abusive exes is actually absurd. and then people end up being murdered by the people they were seeking protection from. they are so willing to punish people and so unwilling to protect anyone.

Its amazing that someone can be an internet slouth and then self appoint themselves into a position of supposed empowerment. Mental health isn't an excuse to break the law. The police dont wake up wanting to arrest people. They were told to come arrest you, its their job. Dont break the law, you wont get arrested. Stop hanging on fringe excuses that appeal to your "cause". Learn to adapt or die.

Whitney Webb lays out how the various world mafias have taken over major structures like US prisons and the US defense industry, so I must assume that all gang activity in the LAPD and the LASD is mafia related. We're so cooked lol. America delenda est. Thanks for sharing this content

Around 28:45 the reason the shootings are still high and prison population is down, isnt bc people are committing less crime, its bc changes in laws where people seeve less time or dont get jail time. Ex: how ur sanfran vid the shoplifters/carjackers could grt arested for the 20th time that year and be out the next morning

Never forget. Wage theft accounts for 73% of all theft in America when calculated by monetary value and not individual thefts. A.K.A employers steal more than twice as much as employees and the common civilians do.

Imagine the gangs in prison. The Prison Guard gangs who copy everything the inmates do… get sleeved out, tattoos, they work out, think/talk/live like the convicts they oversee. So pathetic.

And we have double jeopardy with MANDATORY PAROLE PERIODS that start AFTER THE FULL SENTENCE IS COMPLETED. State prison systems everywhere, (not federal) as far as I know.

Background checks are failing in LA so bad they are hiring these guys? $400k a year!?! That's what the president get paid! Police are underpaid generally, but LA is absolutely insane. They could hire another deputy or 2 if they are paying 300k in o.t.

Andrew's views on rehabilitation has to be the thing I disagree with the most. Laxness on crime has been leading to increased crime. You just reported on people who are doing crimes scot-free and you still think that's a good thing for society?

If we aren't talking about fringe cases such as real criminals being in jail/prison. Then, we shouldn't talk about the fringe case killings that go on inside those institutions. Some are victimized and die in jail, yes, but the vast majority leave alive. This isn't my actual view, just playing devils advocate.

Juggalos? "ask around, don't task a clown", but yeah, lock em up, just don't let em' have the glory of being called something as cool as a "gang" please, buyin' up ALL the damn Faygo! "What about the kids bro? What about the poor lil' kids!?" Greedy bastards!

Im from Solano county CA and was involved in shady shit when i was younger. The solano county sheriff department has a MASSIVE white supremacist gang inside it. Including Chris Pratt's brother who once VERY agressively shoved a shotgun in my buddys face. This shit is widespread and a MASSIVE problem. We absolutely need criminal justice reform but shits only getting worse under Drumpf.
