I'm sad I didn't get to hear your italian! Your French is amazing! I can speak passible Spanish and I was able to say a few things in french, but you are so right about the french! So rude! They did not like me and they're open destain of me was not hidden. I couldn't wait to get out of France and into italy. oh that's my home!! my love!! my everything! I've tried to teach myself Italian starting with learning the Rosary in italian, but when I was there, I went on a date with my waiter and was able to speak Spanish to him and we figured it out.😂 The languages are very close. But French…I don't know if it's the accent? I feel like French is harder😢

It is wallpaper 🙂 probably made from silk that is handpainted, I think it can also be embroidered. Murals are created on freshly laid lime plaster (fresco in italian, meaning ‚fresh‘), the applied pigments melt into the plaster.

You're wrong about the wallpaper. The strips are painted by the company, then shipped out. It's how wallpaper was done before they started printing it, commercially.

As someone who loves amazing design and amazing function, other than the beautiful large hard-to-warm-in-the-winter spa, the rest of the house will age pretty fast. Baroque murals, open cabites at the bottom which collect filth, open kitchen shelving, bronze-everything connected to water supply, and white marble exposed to whiskey. Heavy Cast iron everything pot-related in the kitchen, which cannot be washed in a dish washer. Not a simple life. A housekeeper’s nightmare. Moreover, in London fireplaces have become illegal to have because of the high air pollution and the carcinogenic result of them. As a self-proclaimed welness guru, she should know that a fireplace, especially an open one, has a high correlation with breast cancer and other types of cancer for the persons inhabiting the house and collectively for the community. The owner, per her products as well, appears to be a very smart marketer of no substance. So simple people and architects have presented amazing homes on line. Typically, very rich house lack practicality and simplicity of aesthetic. Mayer, I’m more jealous your newish couch!!

It must be great to be committed to this level of ignorance. There is indeed such a thing as a hand painted wallpaper. A paper that gets painted by hand and later on gets applied to the wall. It's not that hard. And if you don't now something it's fine, but maybe, just maybe, look for info before making a fool of yourself online.
