My personal most-disliked songs, which may not be bad, but they really rage against my personal tastes…
1. Kid Rock – All Summer Long (lame mashup, uninspired and repetitive, ultra-aware of its audience and totally pandering, and rhymed “things” with “things.” Also KR is a trash human being.)
2. Evanescence- Bring Me to Life (Painfully generic, from the melodies, the arrangement, the instrumentation, the male feature that adds nothing, and worst of all, the grating, over-the-top vocals which lack restraint. Pure talent wasted)
3. Rembrandts – the “Friends” theme song (stupid song and stupid show)

Anyway, The Final Countdown is a lyrical fisaster-piece, but I also own a punk/kazoo version by The Toy Dolls, and a martial version by Laibach, so I must like it on at least some level.
I've written some forgettable songs. It's weird when I come across rhem and can't even remember what I was thinking.

If there is to be a clear gold-medal winner for "The Worst Song Ever", it's definitely Forrest Frank's "Your Way's Better". It clearly sounds like the theme song to a 1990s Saturday morning cartoon knock-off or a jingle for cheap bubblegum; yet, K-LOVE keeps playing that darned song like they think it's the greatest song humanity has ever heard!

Nakey Jakey puts out music that I like the sound of, but the way he performs them and some of the lyrics are so unbearably cringe I turn it off like porn if someone else has the possibility of hearing it.

The "Worst Song Ever" is the one that allows you feel superior when you shit on it and anyone who likes it and will, you hope, disguise how afraid you are that someone will see how empty you are inside and afraid that you'll be seen as the baby you are.

I genuinely cannot describe the phenomenon it is. I'd love to see a musician analyze the song, I am still, after 11 years, confident that I could compete with its vocals, with it's complete and utter lack of any effort whatsoever. It's honestly astonishing to me. And 720 MILLION VIEWS..
