Court hears details in murder and torture of pregnant Rebecca Park in Wexford County

Two family members of Rebecca Park have been charged with her murder and the murder of her baby.

Cortney and Brad Bartholomew, biological mother and stepfather of Rebecca Park, are each facing eight charges each including murder in the first degree, torture and assault of a pregnant individual.

The two appeared Tuesday in Wexford County’s 84th District Court after Monday’s hearing was delayed, with both held without bond due to the seriousness of the case.

The courtroom was filled with family, friends, and community members seeking answers in the month-long case.

Many left heartbroken after hearing the graphic details presented by the prosecuting attorney, Johanna Carey.

    I'm curious of what angles have been looked at about this mother and child.
    Have they looked at all possibilities?
    Obviously they didn't want the child or they would have waited till birth another week or two.
    What did they want hidden or hushed up?
    1.Could this child possibly prove other wrong doings? Such as SA resulting in a pregnancy from someonewithin this group?
    Could it be a pregnancy by one of them but blamed on someone else to cover up something. Under fear or threatening her?
    2. Or were they hoping for a live birth to sell the child to pay off something?
    3. Or did she know things about them that would have caused issues? And they were afraid she'd talk for whatever reason?
    4. Was this family involved in cult like behaviors and used her and the child as a sacrifice?
    5. Was she jealous that she conceived and took revenge because she was having issues?
    6. Did someone pay or plan to (if) they put an end to this pregnancy for whatever reason?
    7. Was her existence a source of making her paternal parents look bad for whatever reason. And when she returned, caused old wounds and rumors to erupt. Making them want any future of her daughter and baby to end? So things would die down or not be known?
    8. Was reconnecting something that went bad. Was she threatened for hearing or knowing something?
    Did she threaten to tell? Or being blackmailed somehow? And spoke out, making someone mad or scared?
    9. She was jealous because her ex boyfriend was now dating her natural daughter. And now pragnant.

    Yes I know some of these are very hard to conceive. But they happen in our world. And should atleast be looked into.
    And honestly, a few area's easily proven or disguarded with DNA being checked. If they find baby or blood of baby.y

    This heinous and evil crime was committed on Federal Land so why isn't the death penalty on the table that is b***** these people deserve to die for these most heinous and evil crimes.

    If these were black people this story would be on every national mainstream news network. Hell, even international ones like BBC. They love to tell us all the heinous shit black people do but stay quiet on “white on white” crime unless 10 people gets killed at school or a fucking Walmart.

    Wow. That's a whole new level of evil. I wonder how or why she lost custody of Rebecca in the first place? What was her thinking in all this? Did she just want the baby boy? So many questions that I doubt will ever be answered
