If Beyoncé was a little hungrier for shows, she would've been on the list. Renaissance made 570 million with just 56 shows and Cowboy Carter made 405 million with just 32 shows. Both tours combined made over a billion with less than one 100 shows.

Love seeing lists like this and proud to have attended Love On Tour, the 360 Tour (twice), Mathematics Tour, and Music of the Spheres! U2 was the number 1 experience for me, but the other shows were spectacular as well!

You cannot cannot cannot talk about tours breaking the mold without mentioning Madonna’s Blind Ambition tour. None of these tours would exist in this form without Madonna adding performance art to the traditional rock/pop concert.

they only make that much money because of the insane prices they charge, if this prices were used for concerts in the past then this list would be so damn different, hell Metallica had 1 million more people in just 1 show, in one yup so yeah in the past things were cheap now they cost a liver and a kidney.

I was left thinking why are there no artist from outside the west on this list? Either you had very limited, bias search or non western artist are coming close to this numbers which would make sense those artist aren't always traveling outside the countries they're most know at and bc when the travel more west they still aren't meeting the type of states the artist in this video are.

The U2 360 tour, they actually had 3 of those claws stages. Each one was I think 20 million. Main reason is it took 5 days to set it up, and then another couple days to tear down, so two of the stages were leap frogging usually I believe. I think one of them was across the ocean.

what's the 2steppy interstitial music? i think i was influenced by the comment about where the u2 claw went but i keep coming back 2 this video 2 hear it so i can imagine myself driving thru the 5-lane-a-side surreal nightmare that is suburban salt lake city

P!nk is wildly successful, but she has not sold more overall records than Prince, unless maybe you only count RIAA album certifications (as in only main release albums only counting in the USA). Shania has also sold more, but by only like literally 200,000. Prince: 135,965,611 Shania: 86,714,215 P!nk: 86,550,644
