This is a video about why every Gen Z vs millennial vs Gen X vs boomer argument is stupid apart from when I do it and I’m right.

    12:12 my mom literally talks about how awful her coworkers are because they don’t finish tasks on time then will work off the clock to finish tasks. When I try and explain to her that it sounds like 1. Her company needs to hire more people to help with to 2. Approve overtime or not let her work off the clock because it’s literally illegal. Then she talks about the youths work ethic and I tell her she’s just doing herself a disservice and a disservice to her coworkers.

    So i got bad news for you, Tugg. Ive heard the tail end of millenials and early zoomers grouped together. Roughly 93 to 2000. You and I are whats called "Zillenials." Not quite either. Cooked by the internet but too young to be shaping the next generation.

    21:01 I think i can explain it. I think the reason we Gen Z stare is because someone from typically an older generation ask such a dumb question that we cannot find an answer to it and I believe it’s normally something about technology. since we were born with it we cannot comprehend that, that’s a real question and so we just stare.because of how much we were taught to respect your elders we cant vocalize how insane the question sounds

    bout to get too emotional in a comedy video, but first Great video, I think you highlight a lot that gets skipped with genX… usually it gets kinda lumped up into into boomer behavior but those Karens were very much full of genX >>;

    loved the genY portion, really love being the generation that's guilty of being annoyingly empathetic and too self expressive lmao. Our tv shows were so notably focused on "THINK ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S FEELINGS, love other people, CARE!!" that when I turned back to see what my nieces & nephews were watching it was kinda nightmarish how mean and intense a lot of the main stream shows were. (I'm talking about like 6-10yo, not teens) let alone what you all watched as little kids online, without ever needing to dodge parental hovering on family computers.. just having your own private endless internet access as a kid sounds nightmarish. 90s baby-"zillenials" catching the last years of hangouts/malls and content thats regulated as "safe for kids" being the norm at least til your preteens. Watching my beloved younger family members in genZ grow up with so much fear of their peer's judgement and the whole "kys" said to their friends constantly it was just really damn sad long before covid hit. I'm pretty cynical or world weary for a genY so I can understand how fucking annoying we can be, over optimism and that blind hope that the power of friendship would fix everything in power and politics… YEP we really did fall for it.

    I have a wide range of friends grom elder genY to early 20s genZ and we're all doing pretty damn rough- main difference being how likely are they to own a home or live with like 6 roommates in a month to month rental. I love them all dearly and love using my annoyingly earnest cringy ass genY energy to sit and listen to genZ friends finally open up (usually only in groups smaller than 4 people, and always sounding like talking about their emotions with sincerity is causing an active panic attack) and basically try to use that annoying hope to explain why they shouldn't just give up. genY and genZ really really need to stick together, please let us be the annoying therapy dog to the cold intensity genZ absolutely can weaponize, y'all have so much angry energy that helps the overly soft generation above you

    I remember when i was in 3rd grade covid it, i stayed home a was home taught the school would send worksheets and notes and tests which the parents had to give to their children, i remember doing an exam in the living room while my mom was watching tv, no wonder my social skills are on all time low

    Didn't Gen Z mostly vote for Trump? I think you missed a couple of key points lmao. I mean sure fake activism is dumb but really bigotry is probably worse.

    I hate the irony poisoning we are victims to so many of my generation and the worst part is that i'm definitively part of the problem but unlearning these habits is kind of hard

    Oh for 9/11 it wasnt just high-school and college teachers. I was in the 6th grade taking a math test and my homeroom teacher just went and turned the TV on. Got home and everyone's parents were max power vengeance mode, and almost every channel was taken over by 9/11 news coverage to i guess stoke the vengeance boner of America. The vengeance boner took a few years to calm down.

    Ahh, you are biased towards Gen Z. Shocker, everyone is Gen Z, as it is the "cool" generation, their time in the spotlight. I miss those days, as I am a fossilized millennial. Why do Gen Z's hate us so much?! I, for one, appreciate a lot about Gen Z. They are the first generation in a LONG time willing to stand up for what they believe in (for example, all the Gen Z Protests, some of which were successful and all of which are respectable), they have a great sense of humour for the most part, and they are amazing with technology. It will be cool to see where Gen Z takes us as the future leaders.

    However, Gen Z slang has got to be the worst out of every generation. Sure, we all had silly phrases and sayings, but no previous generation took it as far as Gen Z. They have words for everything, and they all sound dumb (rizz? Skibbidi? Gyatt?). A lot of these words are made up simply to annoy the older generations, I swear (6-7?). Plus, previous generations didn't overuse the everloving shit out of the words like Gen Z is doing. Other than this, much love to Gen Z. Enjoy your time in the spotlight. These are the "best years of your life", so enjoy them. They go very quickly.

    I always thought the "Topic: Everyone Hates Boomers" were comments. I was like, why on every single video is there ALWAYS that one person who is deciding what the topic is going to be in the comment section?!
