In high school we had a video production elective. Some friends remade Halloween, same script, same scares, same deaths, but with no filler. It was under twenty minutes long.

I’m pretty sure that slideshow from the thing I just watched wasn’t from the thing I just watched. For one thing it didn’t have those 1970s production values.

If that producer thinks leprechauns are scary, I am sure someone will eventually come to him to pitch an idea for a great horror movie in roughly 20 years.

I was surprised that there wasn't a joke in there about how the original script was called The Babysitter Murders and took place over a week nowhere near Halloween. The Halloween angle was added later to make the script more marketable.

0:54 to be fair, inexpensive long, boring, lingering shots are kinda just how a lot of movies used to be. Go back and watch 2001 a space oddessy today and try to tell me it has good pacing. I dare you. I dare you you watch long, boring shots of landscapes with hue changes and tell me it's engaging.

Fun fact about the Halloween series: It was actually supposed to be anthology based, so each movie would have a different story. Michael Myers was so popular in the first movie they made a sequel in which Myers did actually "die," and then they'd move on. However, Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, having no relation to the first 2 movies, caused it to flop and face criticism, spawning the obscene number of sequels, prequels, and reboots.

Phoned in. 😕 i didn’t even crack a smile throughout the entire thing.
I used to love these sketches.
I guess Ryan is bored of making them and isn't really trying anymore. Such a shame.
