The only version of this song I'll claim/tolerate is the clean one without Wiz Khalifa since the bridge Adam does on there is WAY better and ties the song together in a more cohesive way imho

Looking back on Wiz Khalifa’s rap bridge on the song, I don’t think it fits the song’s context. Also, there was a version of this that replaced Khalifa’s rap with a bridge: “Now baby, don’t hang up / So I can tell you all you need to know / Baby, I’m begging; just please, don’t go…”
Upon relistening, I've become convinced that Wiz is not trying to rap from Adam Levine's perspective, but is in fact the person Adam Levine is calling. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

I used to live pretty rough and used a payphone later than a lot of people and I havent touched one since like 2010.
Boost mobile exists and then you can have potential employers call you and you don't have to worry about some ass breaking the phone
