I swear everyone has some kind of special disorder and everyone somewhere on the spectrum , when most of their attention thing is caused by too much screen time and Doomscrolling it’s proven that 99% of kids with “ adhd “ are addicted to there phone. Kids are hyper anyway if you tell them from a young age that they’re special, they will always use it as an excuse

If your family is wealthy, ADHD can even turn into a gift. But if you’re not, you should see a doctor and get it treated and managed as soon as possible—so life won’t get even harder later on.

Isn't ADHD apart of people just showing their right (creative) side of their brain without enough aligning and training. I've found that these creatives tend to have these tendencies. Including exceptionally overthinking which usually ends up being negative thinking tell the individual learns

Treating ADHD with medication seems like its the issue. Seems like everyone has something personal to learn. – with people like you playing to their unknown and the industry

As a person with ADHD this are the advantages and disadvantages:

    Advantages:
    1. Energetic/High Energy
    2. Creativity
    3. Hyper-focus on the things I'm interested into
    4. Can think outside the box
    5. Good imaginations-can use this in school works and also in my future career.
    6. Higher empathy
    Disadvantages:
    1. Can't focus on the things I'm not interested into, can't focus especially when tired.
    2. Hyperactivity
    3. Mood swings or very sensitive emotions (easily angered or annoyed and very sensitive) something like that.
    4. Your mind flies/Daydreaming
    5. Anxiety
    6. Interrupting in conversations(Sometimes hard to communicate because of inattentiveness)
    7. Seen as dumb, but having ADHD doesn't mean you're dumb, as a person with ADHD I've noticed that I'm actually smart, I just need proper support in my studies, I know you're smart too:)
    8. Stutters a lot/Speaks fast.
    9. Clumsiness-caused by inattentiveness sometimes.
    10. People would misunderstand you a lot.
    11. Forgetfulness
    12. Depression and lowered confidence(Proper support helps in avoiding depression and increases confidence)
    13. Ups and downs in motivation.
    14. Easily drained
    15. Hard to know the consequences of your actions-sometimes you do things that you don't know will actually cause consequences.
    16. Bad decision making(You decide too quickly and later regret it)
    17. Bad self control(Addiction is harder to overcome with ADHD)
With proper support you will be able to overcome all of these, just trust, trust the Lord, trust His plans, and offer Him the struggles. I'll pray for all of you here who suffers with ADHD🙏 May God bless you guys🙏🙏🙏 You can do it💪 Nothing is impossible with God✝️ Mark the words "TRUST", "HOPE" and "FAITH, trust, hope and have faith in Him!

Adhd is not a deficit, it's a disregulation of attention.

Your attention goes to whatever gives more dopamine.

You could be like a solid hour doing something, and that something may not be homework, but that's doesn't mean you cannot focus.

If you need to deliever tomorrow better know that you will have attention on that one…

Hyperactivity also is questionable, some have it more than others.

I guess I have ADHD I got diagnosed by my AI😅😅. Anyway you are a gift to other people if you have adhd, you are humorous, generous, creative. you just know, you are not at fault, you are DIFFERENT, you are SPECIAL….

The lack of focus also gives you a broader spacial awarness and faster reflexes, making you a naturally good fighter. Wish there was more of a use for that these days. Lol

If ADHD is highly linked to genetics and more people are being prescribed with ADHD then it could mean there is an advantage since from an evolutionary aspect we are thriving.

Any advantages of adhd are often overstated. Sure, we can hyperfocus, and it’s awesome, except most of the time we hyperfocus on the most random things and we can’t control what/when we hyperfocus on. While there definitely can be some benefits in some circumstances, the disorder is a disadvantage more than anything

People who claim they turn ADHD into an advantage are usually just lucky with their environment.
If your family is poor, you lack resources, or you don’t have supportive relationships, then ADHD isn’t an advantage at all — it’s just a pile of crap that drags your life down.”

Since I fell into a career where I need to solve problems others can't, and come up with creative ideas and solutions more or less constantly, yes my ADHD has been a part of that successful equation.

The advantage of ADHD is this: you are more creative, people with ADHD have a better imagination and your brain remembers what it needs when learning, another advantage is that people with ADHD are extremely inventive and come up with solutions to problems that are not common for others, the solutions are original, I also suspect that people with ADHD have an advantage in learning and that is that if you are really interested in something and you really want to learn something, it can be a little difficult to get it into your brain, but then it is also difficult to get it out of your brain, they have an unusually good long-term memory, short-term memory is a hindrance, so if you are learning something, learn it slowly and visualize it each time, visualize it, instead of forcefully learning something by heart, try reading it slowly five times in a row, still visualize it each time and do the same the next day (take at least a 5 minute break every 20 minutes), learning is not about memorizing something, it is about understanding it.

Advantage, where? This Disorder made me miserable. Everyone makes progress with the things they love. I want to make progress with the things I'm interested in, but I get stuck for about two or three years. I feel incredibly empty. I sleep to turn off my mind, and when I wake up, it's worse. Everyone's already done my chores for me, and I just want to disappear right then and there.
