Questionable Things We Ignore In Sons Of Anarchy

“Sons of Anarchy” was a widely acclaimed show during its seven seasons on FX, and with good reason. The show got a lot of things right, and series creator Kurt Sutter clearly had a plan for where the story would go. He even told Deadline about knowing the “mile markers” for the series.

But like any trip down the highway, there were the occasional bumps in the road. Every once in a while, plot lines seemed to just be dropped, characters would disappear, and other events would seem to make little sense. Here are some of the questionable things we just ignore in “Sons of Anarchy.”

    Actually the business that Niro was running was a legit business it was legal. Sure they did some illegal stuff within it but it was a legit business. You can't expect outlaws to quit being criminals cold turkey. And why would Maurine Ashby be in contact with Jax and Gemma any more than the time she was in? She left the letters with Jax, they lived in different countries and it was still a sore subject for everyone what happened with John & Maureen. No reason to visit that again which makes perfect sense. So far I'm 5 minutes in and found a plethora of things wrong with the points you're trying to make.

    This whole show was a stupid nonsensical shitfest because plot. It made no sense and most decision existed ONLY in the realm of they need to because of plot.
    This show was one of the biggest waste of my time and I could have had seen something actually good and well written. The biggest betrayal was how unhealthily people changed because the plot required them to.
    Problem is, when your screenwriters are idiots that shouldn't be there, every above average intelligent person will immediately see trough the bs.

    Bro, escorts are a legal service. The prostitution was illegal, but running prostitution vs legal escorts who Moonlight as prostitutes isnt exactly the same and offers a level of unaccountability for the club.

    As a black person who watched all 7 seasons of this show,i never was confused by Juice's character decisions in S4 and onwards. The secret of his father being black being used against him does make sense. People forget this biker Club was made sometime after Nam and in all 4 seasons of the show and with all the other clubs i never saw another black member. Yea,SAMCRO did do business with black gangs like the niners and had allies with the Grim Bastards but they made it pretty clear they didnt want black members and it wasnt brought up as an issue that needed to be resolved until they realized something that small could be used to destroy them.

    Yeah, the whole escort services are illegal part needed to be fact checked before you bothered with that part lol. It was a perfectly legal business in their state. I also think it’s a weird take to say Gemma was a ‘decision maker’ within the club like it was some kind of overt thing…she manipulated, whispered in ears, twisted the truth etc., which influenced the actual decision makers in a way that they never even knew at the time. Yes, MCs are very patriarchal, but if you think that means there aren’t some manipulative bitches in the background you’re as clueless as some of the men they belong to 😂

    Juice will always aggravate the shit outta me. Hell chibbs even mentions to him that if it says hes hispanic on his birth certificate thats all that counts. Thats one just makes zero sense at all. Still aggravates me whenev I rewatch

    I just watched an IRL video of a 20 something year old girl get into a cop car with its warning lights on, then ask the cop to take her to the bar. After seeing that stroke of genius, I think I can forgive a few dubious writing descisions in an otherwise beatiful show.

    Jax became a total dick and I couldn’t stand him for several seasons. He was doing the exact thing he said he was against. He killed people he didn’t have to kill.

    I love sons of anarchy…. But two things just don't hook up for me… Number one Gemma would not have been able to exert any of that control, and I wish the show would have show that side of it a little more… Add number two Ethan zobelle just got away?… After what he did we needed to see a little bit of payback 💯💯💯

    That's always been questionable to me about opie staying with the club after they murdered his wife by mistake trying to murder him… who would actuallt do that gang or not.. very unrealitic.

    The ashbys never being mentioned after 3 makes sense. Theyre in ireland. Dont have much to do with charming. But juice has always annoyed me. He easily could've acknowledged he's part black and at worst gotten kicked out. Instead he elected to sign his death warrant. Makes 0 sense. Even chibbs tells him "what's it say on yr birth certificate? Hispanic? Yr hispanic"

    I believe what jury said about JT would of known if something was wrong with his bike. The second I start my mustang and pull out I can tell if something is wrong. When you know your vehicle well you can tell if something is off
