Classic movie – the director's cut ending is my preferred ending. Frank Oz's directorial style seems to be hit or miss across audiences. Absolute hit for me. I completely understand the tonal intent.

Movie Starz may sell tickets but the right person for the part makes a great movie. I think forcing a Movie Star into a part just to have a big name to sell tickets actually hurts movie cause than you already know the actor and already have a preconception about how they should act. A fresh person is a character you can learn who they are throughout the movie.

When ever producers scrap part of a movie because "people wont get it or like it" 😒 it turns out we missed out on something that would have been great. I dont know where they find these test people to watch the screener before it is released but they always ruin a movie.

First time I saw this was when I was a kid in the late 90s and my grandmother took me to the video store, and I wanted to rent this, not knowing what it was. She was surprised by the part where the plant was killed and yelled "Oh, s*%t!"

I remember when I was a kid and they had a Toxic Avenger cartoon. Yeah only recently did I actually watch one of the Toxic Avenger movies to finally realize how fucked up it was for someone to think that should be a kids cartoon. 80s were a weird time.

i rented this from a local corner shop as a kid, i loved it so much i kept watching it and after about three weeks the shop called my dad asking for the tape and telling him how much he owed. and that's how i got into many troubles and how my VHS privileges were revoked. worth it.

Oh. My. God. I just had a very, VERY deep memory unlocked thanks to this video. I remember watching that cartoon when I was very young, I think I liked it but I'm not sure, I have no idea how I did so as I don't live in the US and it was on my country's National TV, I didn't have Cable TV for most of my childhood.

We did this movie as a play my senior year of high school(1995). I was one the singers. The first song with the solo. We had so much fun!!! To this day I can remember the entire dialog and all the songs🤭. This movie will always have a special place in my heart 🤗😍!!!

That deleted scene where the plants destroyed the city would have been perfect as a dream sequence when Seymour and Audrey realized what that plant intended to do, prompting Seymour to get rid of it. That was good wasted footage.
