Fentanyl is the deadliest illegal drug in US history by far. It’s often described as the ultimate high, but it’s actually an inferior, short-lived, and brutally addictive version of heroin. In this video, we explore what opioids do to your brain and body, what it feels like to take them, and why so many people are dying from Fentanyl overdoses without ever choosing to take it.

I shot heroin and fentynal 16 years and thats not at all how fentynal makes you feel. Heroin makes you feel warm euphoric rush for 15 seconds then a few hour nod. Fentynal,no. Almost 3 years clean. Still have 100s of healed holes from missed shots and skin popping and muscling dope.

I quit smoking, weed and alcohol this year. Smoking was maintenance and alcohol was occasional but weed. It wasn't taking over my life like I went to work and to the gym as well but man did I feel down the whole day because nothing could match up to the hour that I'm high for when music felt insane. Movies blew my mind. After quitting I don't feel immense joy without reason but I don't feel down after neither. My smell and taste has become like limitless. Stamina is same because I have been going to the gym for 2-3 years now.

Don't you find it fucked up to pass by one of the oldest educational institutions in a city, and to see a location spot where human trafficking is happening? It's a University…
Don't you find it fucked up? In time where abolishing slavery is thought to have happened?

Google doesn't want to do anything about it.
Yes, such "agencies" are human traffickers. DIICOT isn't do anything about it either, for how many mentally challenged ones are hired at DIICOT there isn't much to be.

i remember in one of the SCP tales about the coffee machine (an anomalous object)

one researcher asked for "the best drink to ever exist" and it gave him 7 oz of liquid with many colors.

that researcher drank it, and shortly afterwards offed himself because "nothing else will be this good"

i assume the coffee machine gave him liquified heroine.

Friends, please do not use any medicine or dugs that will mess with your brain chemistry.

You can live without any organ but your brain, you are your brain.

During some of my darkest moments I was desperate for something that would numb the pain. I would think about drugs on occasion but just didn't have the motivation or knowledge on how to seek them out. Plus there was that little bell of warning that had been thrown into the back of my brain by some pretty messed up stories told to me by my mother and the story of classmate back in middle school got addicted and the struggles he had to go through after. The more I learn about this kind of stuff, the more I'm glad I never had any direct access to hard drugs.

To everyone who is struggling right now with hard times I want to tell you to hold on because it gets better, trust me, the future is not hopeless. Get away from the doomerism. You just have to carve out a space for yourself with whatever you can. Don't take the easy way out. Just keep moving from day to day, hour to hour, whatever you need. Your future self (and your loved ones) will thank you.

To those who are currently struggling I am sorry to hear that. Often times addiction is due societal issues, lack of education, and toxic people violating your boundaries. Do not blame yourself. Its never a useless to try and recover and forgive yourself if you have a relapse. The road to recovery is a rocky one. It is never too late to start recovering either. If Ozzy Osborne can live to the ripe old age of 76 after going clean then you can too.

Fentanyl isn’t particularly good, just cheap and better than nothing. Oxy is the king of opioids, I first had it when I was 15 and it took me 13 years to quit, all the other drugs I did after it were just because oxy is too hard to get. It’s definitely the case that I have never felt as good again as I did that night, felt like the missing piece of my soul was given back to me. Just lying there with your eyes shut and thinking on oxy is better than any normal experience I’ve ever had. Heroin, morphine, fentanyl or dilaudid are too sedating and personally they don’t even make me feel as happy, other opioids like Vicodin and Codine aren’t nearly as strong, oxy is energizing and euphoric. I highly doubt I’ll ever feel as good in the rest of my life as I did that night, nothing has come close. It was so good that just the memory of it makes everything else feel like nothing in comparison. I’d say I’m happy now though, one of the miraculous few that actually recovered and changed my perception of reality, because my life has taught me that too much happiness leads to suffering… all the time I was an addict, it’s like that was an invisible force balancing the scales, all that free joy had to be paid back with interest.

was on fent for only about 6 months and in that time, overdosed 7 times. 3 of which i flatlined during. i had to be hit with several doses of narcan during all 3 because there was so much fent in my system, i would come back and then flatline again. i spent weeks in the icu on ventilators recovering from each of those. i just remember being so numb during those 6 months. i remember one of the less intense overdoses, i woke up in the ambulance and then just stared at the clock in the emergency room because a nurse told me they legally had to wait for an hour until they could release me. as soon as the hour passed, a friend picked me up and we went and picked up more. thankfully, i'm a couple months over 2 years sober now and never want to touch the stuff again. but i do commonly think about how much happened during the little amount of time i was on it and how many times i came way too close to death–or did die and was brought back. fentanyl is no joke.
