me watching my mother act relieved food stamps and medicaid are being revoked and saying "those people just mooch off working class citizens like myself" knowing DAMN well that year ago we were on food stamps/medicaid and struggling to get food on the table for weeks on end.

For those who say these people don't exist, they certainly do. They're friends, neighbors, and especially family. Even though all the horrific shit ICE has done and continues to do, she still believes it is just because they're only after "PeOpLe WhO aReN't SuPpOsEd tO bE hErE" (you know, like that Halloween parade full of parents and children celebrating Halloween who were then tear gassed, brutalized, assaulted, and traumatized?).
I had immense hope she would be able to see through this shit, especially after not being able to watch F(ake)OX News, but I was severely wrong & mistaken. Government shutdown? Democrats fault. Cutting of essential government programs and especially SNAP benefits? Democrats. ICE terrorizing, abusing, racially profiling, kidnapping, and killing innocent American citizens? Democrats (and illegal immigrants resisting and invading neighborhoods).
It doesn't matter how absurd this shit gets or how blatantly false the propaganda is. They whole heartedly believe this without question. They are too far gone and too brainwashed to believe anything other than what the regime says. I doubt even God could change their minds and open them up to the truth.

The Stock Market point seems weird. Most people don't have interest in owning stocks. Owning them is a Job in thesmelves. I seen a lot of incentive by banks to get lower income people involved in the stock market. I don't gamble myself.

The Left used to hate the democracts in the Obama Era and then suddenly the Democracts became the party of the left. The Left saw that Obama wasn't fully addressing the Healthcare crisis at the time and wars were being started. The Left wing saw the whole system as corrupt and Obama was just a puppet.
Now adays it seriously seems like Trump is doing anything to distract the public from the Epstine Files. The health Insurance is off hinged, all the snap stuff, and not to mention the disruption to agriculture due to the immigrant explusion are events that are adding up to a really shitty time. He aims to piss people off by bitching about trans people and arresting illegal peasants while it feels like the collapse of Rome on the streets.

The Right wing is talking about how people shouldn't rely on the government and it is a root of a American Society. America today is too crowded to avoid Urbanism and Government. America was founded on the frontier and used that to grow it's economy and accomidate immigrants. Now it is closer to the population situation of Mainland China and people are stuck with society. Heavy Government is ineivitible but it is up to American people if that heavy government is like Dennmark or the Communist Party of China.

Come on, Leeja. You're way too smart to be this biased. Be honest with the content. Substidies for Obama Care are not set to expire. ENHANCED ACA SUBSTIDIES are set to expire in 2025 anyway. So basically the DEMS are holding the government hostage for something that was meant to be temporary and already set to expire. Someone needs to author a piece off legislation to attempt to enhance substidies. But shutting the government down ain't it. Republicans have a lot of things they should be criticized about, but this one is the DEMS. And they need to out on their negation hat.

For some context, the amount of people about to lose SNAP benefits is more than the population of Canada.
For more context, if you spent $10,000 a day it would take you 274 years to spend $1 billion. Billionaires should not exist.
