As a nurse, I know how to interact with dementia patients. I know how to de-escalate with words. I imagine talking to Trump would be the same. Someone could literally not know where they are or what’s going on, but what keeps them going is confabulation. It’s coping. And trump is very prone to confabulation. Just another piece of evidence that he is unfit to be a leader of this nation.
