Listening talking about Katatonia… Idea for a show I have for a long time, maybe with Martin as a guest. Albums that we love but are just too depressing so we hardly ever visit them.

I’ve never seen you bring up Soen. Have you listened to them? Great live band! Rock on!

As a tribute to new guy Jeff of Metal Rules magazine fame I have listened to two CDs up his alley: the Megadeth underrated classic The World Needs a Hero with guitar gawd Al Pitrelli and the ECM piano trio CD from 2000 Vassilis Tsabropoulos-Arild Andersen-John Marshall. Yes, THAT John Marshall on drums.

Got my Naxatras last week. Man, it is really really good. Thanks Ken. Probably going to make my top 3.

I got Psychotic Waltz – A Social Grace in the 90s as a cut out and it does nothing for me. Buddy Lackey = Devon Graves of Dead Soul Tribe, a band I avoided in the 2000s but never gave a chance.

Welcome Jeff Rappoport to the Warehouse. May your days at the workplace be free of stress, harshness, ridicule, and AOR drivel.

I can't be the only one in this boat (or maybe I am?) but I listen to music CDs nowadays pretty much 100% over a pair of $11 Sony headphones large ear cup style with a portable CD player. I think I have bought 10 CDs player used on Ebay the last many years when they break about $15-24 because no one wants to hear the tunes I want to play. There are some old models that have 50 hours of battery like or you can get an AC adapter. It is a private love experience straight to my brain matter via the covered ear method. I sometimes get to play something on the DVD player through the analog TV set of yore but heaven remains purely for my solitary enjoyment. I had a Sony stereo system burglarized from the home in Jan. 2004 and a JVC boombox from 1997 died by the late 2000s and never replaced them. Oh well, as long as I can listen to music somehow that is the main thing.

I dig that shirt man with the Armadillo tank attacking the mainstream schlock of the commercial music of today. Prog Army forever.

I thought about the Nightingale reissues and I would avoid them despite 2 disc sets with bonus material but now I want them all. Inside Out putting these out is as monumental as their Asia with John Payne reissues 20 years ago in conjunction with their Silent Nation studio CD, an epic tour-de-force of Geoff Downes brilliance. Guthrie Govan on guitar is fantastic.

I have 90s albums (CDs) from Adam Holzman Overdrive & In A Loud Way that I don't go back to much even though I should. Never checked out Brave New World & Truth Decay bands although I should. I need to write stuff down or I forget.

That A-Z album is actually really, really good; a definite step up from the debut. 👍

It's heartwarming to hear the tariffs have been implemented and are having the desired effect. I mean why are Americans buying progressive rock from Sweden, anyway? Listen domestically people!

That Prog Army shirt reminds me of the "Tarkus" cover from ELP.

New Gösta Berlings Saga is awesome, and those two Änglagård live albums are brilliant, a must have.

Hi, Pete…admission: I have not watched this yet (I will….trust me), but I HAD to post a discovery I found just now that I hope you've been made aware of…I became a devoted viewer of your channel primarily due to your "Allure Of The Live Album" shows from a few years back…since you and I have a shared affinity for live albums, I couldn't resist sharing the discovery of an excellent archival live album from the Gregg Allman Band, 1984…it was released late last month; it's a fantastic album, great track list, and I just hope that if you haven't come across it yet, that you'll have the chance to. I'm enclosing a YouTube video of the last track on the album for anyone interested…cheers, and I will be watching this one in the near future.
