   concerning the forum and LJ making fun of vk fangirls…it was awful to be a teen girl fan of vk (well some vk bands) in the 2000's because almost everyone in the community and around bullied me and fangirls like me for being fangirl-y and finding some members attractive and not being interested in smaller bands…I got traumatized by this horrible era of edgy and pickme girls around me and misogynistic fanboys in the vk community, it only succeeded to drive me away from the musical genre for 15 years until I built enough selfconfidence and maturity to be proud of who I was – a bubbly fangirl in my mid 30s…I didn't change who I was now I just no longer hide myself being cringy and emotional about my faves, doing so is my best therapy tbh…

   Man, my first concert was Dir En Grey 2008 when they toured N.America I still have a really beat up t-shirt lol those were the times, it was niche and we tried our best to DIY some bondage pants. We made friends in line before going in the venue, it was raining so much I was worried of ruining my v-kei hair. Malice Mizer was still my number 1 along with Vidoll, and hide. heck I still listen to them when the mood strikes!

   1:31 Well, it doesn’t. They chose this name by 3 to 2 votes! It's a song from another band who thought it meant that combining German(Dir), French(en), and English(gray) words meant "the coin is grey"! They wanted the name to represent the concept of nothing being black and white, but gray! Dir en grey just changed the a (in gray) and we got the name! Kyo wanted another name but was outvoted! He never disclosed what his proposal was, thought!

   🤩🤩🤩Awesome! I love J-Rock! Been a fan of Dir En Grey since 2002 and Malice Mizer toward the end of their band. Saw DeG twice in Tempe, AZ, got autographs and souvenirs. BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!!!

   the vk hate website : well the 2000s were horrible for me as a vk (okay mostly MM and MdM) fangirl…it was v unsafe for bubbly fangirls and I didn't know any besides me… I was bullied so much about it I was ashamed to myself and couldn't get into other bands, eventually it took me 15 years to recover and be a fangirl again of those bands (I got into a few other vk bands of the same type – "the vk bands for princesses" as they call) , I can't help my true nature, i'm an enthusiast fangirl at heart I'm tired to pretend I'm not and now I'm claiming it

    Lol I went to see a VK band and asked a friend if she knew them and she was PISSED for weeks straight because my asking was an assumption that she isn't a real fan or whatever….. idk apparently you have to know what brand of cigarettes they smoke. Wth. Still like them though.

    As a hardcore visual kei fan(and hardcore Malice Mizer fan) it hurts my soul just a little when he says Malice mai-zer instead of Malice mee-zer lol
