China’s exports of electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels, batteries and other “carbon-cutting technology” hit a record $20bn in August, according to a new report by thinktank Ember, Bloomberg reports. The outlet says that “the US, which has positioned itself as a major fossil fuel exporter, sold $80bn in oil and gas abroad through July, the last month with data available. China exported $120bn in green technology over the same period”. The Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post (SCMP) covers the same story, saying that China’s clean-tech exports to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) increased by 75% during the first eight months of 2025.

Interesting coverage today. I agree that gold looks to be near a local high and likely to consolidate sideways as some investors take profits and rotate into BTC and ETH—classic capital flow dynamics.

I’d also offer a different perspective on the shutdown narrative. The polling data cited doesn’t match what I’m hearing directly from many people, who actually welcome the pause in government activity and view it as an overdue check on power and spending. Legacy media often frames these issues through a partisan lens that can amplify division, and I think it’s important to acknowledge those disconnects calmly and factually. Truthful disclosure matters more than pre-packaged narratives.

I believe most people in the US understand the importance of reducing the government spending on entitlement programs. The math is pretty clear. Continued spending at the current level is not sustainable. How we responsibly make this change is what we face. I pray that we can do this!

A regime uses lies and slander to deflect blame, creating scapegoats so the public focuses on manufactured enemies instead of its repeated failures. By controlling the narrative, it preserves authority and undermines trust in anyone who challenges its incompetence.

I read Forbidden Business Mindset by Tarren Wicklow cover-to-cover on a long-haul flight. I couldn’t sleep after. The book doesn’t scream. It whispers things no one says out loud: how the tax code is a map, how debt is a tool, how income is a trap. I landed thinking about foundations, shells, and leverage in a whole new way. I wasn’t taught wrong- I was just taught to stay inside the system.
