why did you say "bye" so aggressively? it makes you seem like an angry person and I don't want to watch angry people.

This intro takes me back to the “corporate sponsorship” scene from Wayne’s World! 😂

Hey, love this vid, just wondering how you were triggering the chords. Is it through 3 of the channels on the polyend? Cheers

I am wondering, is there a way to make sequencers with the mpc live, and have the Poly Preset play individual presets.. synced with different sequencers simultaneously??… basically turning it into a Multitimbral Modular set up lets say ?

At least you didn't give the Roli a negative review.

So, is the Roli any good? I went with the Sensel instead…did I make a good choice?

Oh damn, ROLI. I used to work there and the CEO would force everything up be released way before it was ready. It was a never ending nightmare of stress and crunch.

I was building an amateur version of the Preset, with an Arduino and some digital pots, until I learned about it a couple days ago. Now it should be here by Tuesday!

Thanks Ben! That ending sounded oddly enough like "Thanks for watching and buy!"
😉 Well I almost did but I decided to try and find out if my current gear can be used more creatively to get these or similar effects.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen sequencing from an iPad to a modular… what was your connection there? Is there an $80 Apple iModular dongle I can buy or something?? Hopefully something much cheaper… lol. Rad video by the way!

Terrific, as usual. Really shows power of the modules. Better than the convention videos.

this is such a good video. The intro, your values, and then the product.
It's a really powerful module and definitely a performer's dream. Per-step patching is so good.

I have to say the videos I have enjoyed most so far is probably the additive synthesis stuff. I'd take more such topics any day. Anyway, great video. Modular is fun fun fun!

My dude. I just realized the other day that I've been listening to your music for years. I saw the banner for The Flashbulb on Spotify and was like, wait, I know that face. Soundtrack To A Vacant Life is one of my favorite albums.

Your DFAM overview was the first video that brought the Benn and Gear page into my conscious awareness. The Seinfeld intro upped the ante. If we were playing poker, I think that is the correct terminology. Anyway, I’ve forgotten why I posted this. Your channel rules.

WOW, that's something I've been waiting for: a proper solution to being able to recall hw generated sound not only as audio or midi clips, but as in an on the fly workflow, IMHO it's an extremely popular topic, would worth a video ;P

You wouldn't have lost viewers for reviewing a workstation… Us viewers LIKE those kinds of videos, and you (you specifically) could probably make a really cool three part series where you yourself are figuring out how to use it, while also sharing your thoughts on it.
Man oh man, now I just really want to see that video…

So what you are saying is that Roli Seaboard is a must, we should drink water that is more humid than water and that I can't make music without incense?
@Fedir_Tkachov_Music
January 18, 2026 at 11:02 pm
Yep, Roli put most of their effort into "external" design of how their products look instead of how they play. They market the blocks line as controllers for mobile platforms, but they still don't have an app for changing the settings of them on iOS.
