I'm British. Thank you to Matteo for bringing his show to the UK and for appreciating Allen Carr! We do have smaller portions and higher food standards but we also gave up on flavour in the 1940s.
I love Nick's take on the daylight robbery of portion size discrepancy and his cheese delirium.
"Queso" to a British person is just the Spanish word for cheese. And the European concept of cheese, as Matteo would know, is NOT the same as the American concept of cheese- the stuff you squeeze out of a bottle that has the consistency of mayonnaise, which- while flavorful- looks terrifying.

16:00 the first car was i think ford in 1910…fun fact the only 2 cars in a town had an accident which is why stop lights happened.
Also nick…. you only look one way when crossing a street? You live in a city? I live in bumfuck nowhere and it was DRILLED in my head "Look both ways before crossing the street" and I do! I cant cross a street without doing it. Living in a city????

I swear Dunkin Donuts went out of business in the U.K. about 20 years ago, but for some reason it’s recently come back. Haven’t been there since the mid-90s.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker but do like the coffee whenever I’ve been to the US. Barely ever order it in the U.K. because it’s far too strong. The closest you get is the 99p filtered black coffee from Pret, or ordering half a shot of Americano.

For the banning of SOME things in the US like meat, it is also a bit like the orange menace with his tariffs. Making up things about foreign goods so you can over charge to import things or you can make sure they aren't in ur markets.

This is why Americans are often seen as entitled and unliked by other countries. Imagine going to a different country and demanding / getting frustrated that they don’t have your personal drink / food? If you don’t want to try different things, stay at home & don’t travel.

don't shoot me for this but I'll just say that Americans often present in the UK as… loud. Like, the voices… carry. I've been in restaurants where every single table of Brits was silently hating the table of loud Americans. I'm not saying Brits can't be loud. Brits will yell at each other in a noisy venue. But at afternoon tea, which is pretty genteel… I imagine these guys were… loud. Sometimes I'm amazed at the ability of many Brits to converse with each other at a level that is totally inaudible to the adjacent table. Kind of wild, really. The self-repression is strong.

I love the shirt with the drawing of you two.. my only suggestion is putting Chris’s laughter in the background somehow. Even a cartoon word bubble with haha in it. Gotta include him somehow

This made me laugh. Nick was in London for just 48 hours and you ate in at least three dreadful US chains? Come on!! Expressing surprise seeing brown sugar in cubes is like being surprised water comes out of a tap! You definitely need to come back for at least three weeks!!
