How Stellantis Destroyed Jeep

More Perfect Union | January 15, 2026

Jeep used to be a treasured American brand. But after Stellantis bought the iconic brand, workers say execs slashed jobs and quality to drive up profits. Now customers say the new $80,000 Jeep Wagoneer has mechanical issues fresh off the lot.

It amazes me that not a single company has realized using the massive pay for a single CEO to just hire more workers for more quality and efficient output is the best business strategy you could implement.

Video seems bias and seems to miss some of the money trends and how the car industry worldwide (not just U.S.) is tied to it, not to mention the politics at play, and a more and more obvious goal to reach. Beginning from the very formation of Stellantis and the agenda for it, the people involved and the pawn CEOs involved, including the one who went against the elites and barely escaped their revenge plan.
WEF in a few days will also show part of these plans and the new regulations that will be implemented very quickly by the EU and ultimately the U.S.

Politics seem nonexistent in your analysis.

Meanwhile China is coming with with rules to ACTUALLY better cars with doors that HAVE to open mechanically in case of electric loss or accidents in EVs, and this is extending to to other non life threatening switches in the next year.

The two Stellantis dealerships closet to us in Gainesville, Florida…suffice to say…have overflowing lots! In fact if it weren't for a defunct local mall…there'd be no place to park the new CDJs that keep rolling in. To see this you'd swear SEARS was back in business 😂

Chrysler has always been plagued with problems, poor quality was the standard and its jeep line is no exception, how antoher auto maker thought buying jeep and Chrysler was a good idea astonished me

Making the claim that Ford's investment in the F150 Lightning was wise? Not the case (the 4XE Wrangler has also been scrapped). Perhaps a new parent of Jeep can move the production to Tennessee and avoid labor problems.

AMC made Jeep, and is the only reason people respect it. Chrysler put a half ass into it and Stellantis is its second broke stepdad that puts a half effort into it and in turn dragged a respected famous name through the muck all for corporate profit

@4:04 yes but more important is reliability; specifically who cares about a 12" display in a vehicle, give me a drive train that is rock solid, then for the cabin tech, or whatever else cut cost there. Very disappointing and disrespect for what the Jeep brand should represent.

I don't get it: what are all these people complaining about? It's capitalism! Who are they: shareholders, owners? Who cares about their opinion? 🤷‍♂

Yeah air bag suspension in a 4×4 absolutely stupid because the airbags can get punctured so easily by sticks , stones or wire etc. in an off road situation and even on road . As an add on for extra support for towing is ok on road .
