SEAL’s 10 Tips to Get Out of Any Situation | Deadly Survival Skills

Qxir | January 2, 2026

Another look at “100 Deadly Skills” written by former Navy Seal, Clint Emerson. This video discusses skills 71 to 80, and how to escape situations that are hazardous to your health and/or freedom.

“You will learn how to escape a locked trunk, make an improvised Taser, trick facial recognition software, prevent tracking, evade a kidnapping, elude an active shooter, rappel down the side of a building, immobilize a bad guy, protect yourself against cyber-criminals, and much more — all using low-tech to “no-tech” methods.”

1:26 that little nugget about preventing the gun firing by pushing back against it is all you need to hear to know you can ignore everything this “SEAL” has to say. Even if you could prevent the firing mechanism from operating by pushing against the end of the slide, all your assailant has to do is withdraw his gun hand a tiny bit to allow it to fire.

1:15 happened to me, held the gun as hard as I could as I instinctively twisted the guys arm, was a revolver, I think that's why it didn't fire… Was pure focking luck I'm not trained or anything, was the kind of reaction you do when someone tries to pickpocket you and you caught the guy in the act.

    South America is hard fr

`fingerprints don't always grow back. When I was a child I got all of the fingers of one hand stuck between a church pew and a 40 foot long chunk of padding that was backed with wood (so I got the weight of 20 people crushing my fingers when everybody sat down at once). 20 years later I'm still missing half of the fingerprints on 4 of my fingers. Unfortunately it's a real distinctive bumpy texture now, and would probably be really identifiable if I decided to start criming

From the future and that Corona virus comment hit me, it's almost a mix of the 2 outcomes you said currently. Things are normalizing but it's still far from just being a memory

Not watched it yet but if the tip for getting out of any situation isn't saying "I'm going for a shit" I'll be bitterly disappointing

You seriously Crack me up . I actually don't laugh often but , your dry-unimpressed style of humor often catches me off guard, and speaks to my heart

For hand protection. But yard work gloves. They're skin tight, tear resistant, and have textured pads on the fingers that give grip even when wet, and conceal finger prints completely

These are an example of, works on paper, and might work for you, but plenty of people have died trying these very tactics, but who knows, you may be different.
