Amazing guys never heard of the dwarf hippo when you said dwarfism it makes sense but saying it evolved that is inaccurate because evolution is supposedly supposed to get new genetic information. But the dwarf hippo lost genetic information cause of its dwarfism. Now some mutations can be beneficial to the animal but still no new genetic material is added it either messes it up or deletes more existing genetic information. Mutations are supposed to be the key to evolution including natural selection but there has never been a mutation that adds new random genetic material even Richard Dawkins new this. But I’m not here to argue or debate I just to say that so people understand it God bless you keep up the good work for searching and trying to save theses amazing creatures. One more thing Jesus died and rose again for all of you. Bye 👋

Because a skull was found to be 200-years-old, what’s the likelihood for the survival of the Malagasy Hippopotamus? Is it extinct or still living? 🦛 Extinct or Alive

Malagasy hippos (genus Nesotherium) are a recently extinct genus of hippo that inhabited Madagascar, but became extinct in the Holocene, there are three recognized species of malagasy hippo: the †Faure's Dwarf Hippo (Nesotherium laloumena), the †Lemerle's Dwarf Hippo (Nesotherium lemerlei), and the †Grandidier's Dwarf Hippo (Nesotherium madagascariensis).

Hello Animal Planet, I love watching many of your shows since I was a kid but one show that has caught my attention many years ago was a show called "Animal Face Off". I know that there are full 30 minute episodes on "Lion vs Tiger", "Hippo vs Bull Shark", and "Croc vs Great White". But I haven't really been able to find the 30 minute episodes on "Leopard vs Gorilla", "Alligator vs Black Bear", "Siberian Tiger vs Brown Bear", "Jaguar vs Anaconda", "Cougar vs Wolf", "Polar Bear vs Walrus", and "Elephant vs Rhino". By any chance could you find these lost episodes if you can, they made up the bulk of me and many other people's childhoods watching Animal Planet.
