Eddie was cap by promising and posturing, making claims that he would someday return to stand-up. As of March 2025 Eddie ain't done Sh!t in stand-up and frankly has shown no signs that he's even funny anymore.

Eddie played in some really good movies. His standup was cool but not close to Chappelle, Pryor or Rock. Played in much better movies than Chappelle, Pryor and Rock.

Thinking, Where they might put an Eddie Murphy status? 😊 Maybe they start a new school for comedy talent in his hometown and or the corporate office of an online comedy school to recruit future comedians, stage/show/stand up talent. The earth needs funny people. His choice if he wants to be sculpted in the red leather outfit or something else, 😊. Eddie needs to be remembered for generations to come. A comedy legend. 👏 Thank goodness to God for all things funny, for laughter.

Eddie grew up in the days where men were smooth. My Dad used to see him in clubs down in Atlanta in the 80’s, back when leather pants were the look. Truth be told, my father was the smoothest one in the place. 😆
