An accidental LSD trip led to John Lennon creating the most incredible music with The Beatles, but he was soon forced to contend with a much bigger problem.

I think he was just a hot garbage human being. Mid-tier musician too. But what else can you expect from someone so popular in mainstream media.

No, thankfully for John LSD is not an addictive substance. Also you can’t really take it everyday. In order to get a good trip again, you have to let your brain refresh itself. And it takes at least a week or two

Tragic years, what even are they? There’s a reason people talk about the Beatles in terms of before LSD and after LSD. It’s not just a trivia marker; it’s a way of naming a shift in consciousness. The story we actually live through is what gives our years their meaning, not the calendar. Time isn’t defined by dates; it’s defined by transformation.

Having watched the Beatles step on to American soil for the first time, until John's death, I can say without a doubt, IT WAS THE LSD/HEROIN that attracted him to that Squealing Squawking Howling ass Yoko Ono There's no other explanation

Beatles for Sale…the cover is my absolute favourite photo of them. It’s them returning from a wild time in America never to return again to tour. No longer are they the crazy mop tops but you can see in their eyes that they’ve seen things and learn things and a little bit more jaded. This is the absolute moment they transitioned to the psychedelic era and become the next level of Beatles. It’s such an iconic photo.

So… LSD gave him more confidence, creativity, and acceptance of himself, while also understanding the context of everything else and being able to start a new chapter of awareness, and reading more… Wow, how "tragic." Nice clickbait.

I always noticed how this handsome young man with a very friendly and open energy he used to be, within just a few years completely changed into a dark and a lot of time unpleasant guy – who's consuming energy and presence really changed for the bad.
It wasn't until I dived deep into the Beatles' history on drug (ab)use that I clearly saw what happend to him.

I dont blame John or Yoko for getting into Heroin. This was the late 60s and 70s and authorities had the dumbest approach to drugs (still do) so both had no idea about the extreme dangers that the poppy brought with it. Yoko eventually got clean, I think John would have gotten clean too. Probably would have entered sobriety.

Horribly misleading. The attack on psychedelics continues. Why not be accurate about what he was on and when? Just a bunch of lies here.
