INFO: On the 5th of July this year Foo Fighters dropped a 3 song live EP out of the blue. Unlike most other bands they ignore the temptation to create hype around their music and just decide to put new material out. The EP is called 00950025, numbers that most likely refer to the 25th anniversary of their debut album that was released on the 4th of July, 1995. On twitter and instagram the band posted this message to their fans along with a link to the live EP: “A good day to take a look in the Foo Files. How about a few elusive Live tracks? We’ve seen some Reading ’95 tweets, officially submit them now (or any FF story you like) here: …you never know what we’ve got up our sleeves…”
In this video I thought i’d share some thoughts about this EP, the curious message they wrote to their fans and also take a quick look at some of their early albums.

Great video! My brother and I grew up being the first kids to have “MTV” channel back in the day. We were musicians in band, so having a channel like that became as essential as Rolling Stone, Cream, drum and guitar mags…with that said, I love your style of YouTube music journalism 💕🎶👍🏻.

I would watch a video on every album they made. They are my absolute favorite band. I'd love you to go more into the 3rd LP, as it's my favorite, but perhaps The Color and the Shape would be better

I love your videos lie. But to me it’s a waste of talent transitioning into only talking about a few bands. There’s so much music and your videos are so thought out that you should not put yourself in an artistic box.

Saw foo fighters twice in the span of 2 months. And both shows were amazing, hands down the best concerts ive been too.

Saw FF last year for the first time at Madison Square Garden. Been too a lot of a concerts but damn, the Foos put on a show, not just a concert. Experience I'll never forget. Great video

I saw FF in the summer of 95 at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Shudder To Think and Wool were the opening acts. FF were so amazing!!!!!
