What If All Stars Exploded at the Same Time?

What If | December 23, 2025

For every galaxy that’s visible from Earth, there are nine smaller ones that we can’t see, even with all the technology we’ve developed. That’s 90% of all space stuff in the observable universe that we’re missing out on. We can’t even see all the stars in the Milky Way. Our home galaxy is just too cluttered with gas, dust, smaller stars and, well, one supermassive black hole. All that makes it impossible to tell how many stars there really are out there. But whatever that number is, it sure has a lot of zeros in it.

“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it, we go nowhere.” — Carl Sagan

What If is a mini-documentary web series that takes you on an epic journey through hypothetical worlds and possibilities. Join us on an imaginary adventure — grounded in scientific theory — through time, space and chance, as we ask what if some of the most fundamental aspects of our existence were different. I have thought about this scenerio before. Supposedly this WILL happen someday. And i am glad i won't be around. Whenever i imagine no stars left in the entire universe, i feel existential dread.

Not storms, but the Sun. If we don't have a Peaceful Apocalypse, it's because God is the Sun and you follow Jewish occult religions. Each person thinks in a chemical-electrical process, the human brain generates 25W of energy inward. God thinks on a much higher level, nuclear-electric. The Sun radiates an energy of 3.846×1026 J per second. This energy is equivalent to the explosion of 10 billion thermonuclear bombs with a power of 10 Mt TNT (10 million tons of TNT) each. This energy is radiated in all directions and only a small part of it reaches the Earth, which is about 150,000,000 km away.

Well you got a point wrong, we won't see all the supernovas from earth at a single time as every star has a different distance from earth and some would even take 10 years for us to see and some will even reach us in 10 months

Don't know how you can look at all this and say it happened by chance. Oh if the universe dies," a new one could form and everything will repeat itself" not even taking into account how rare we are. It's so crazy.

Hi what if I'm from melbourne Australia yeah use should make a video of our Wolfe Creek Crater is the second largest meteorite crater in the world. It was formed by a massive meteorite smashing to earth around 300,000 years ago.
