I'm not finding much metal these days hits a high enough bar for innovation, passion, impact. It's just people think is cool. Car Bomb to me stands out as exceptional, as do Mur, Oranssi Pazazu, Chat Pile and Drain have been good. A lot of bands hiding behind technicality or the trope of black metal for extremity as answers to be different. But it's meh. Any recommendations for original genre defining bands who employ good song writing?

Your commercial is amazing. Will definitely check it out. But I am dying to know what that riff is from! It sounds so familiar!

Or is it a trade secret?

Love the new Abigail Williams album. Always been a fan, but this just feels next level. It’s heavier and the production is better than their previous album. Would like to note that although they are from Arizona, they’re based in Olympia, WA now (which is where I live). Now that the new album is out, I really hope they go on tour, or at least do some local shows, maybe with Wolves in the Throne Room, also from Olympia? That would be epic.

Congratulations on your first commercial shoot🤘 For me, Clairvoyance would be a great album but the vocals ruined it for me. Such dynamics in the song writing but buried dissonant vocals just aren't my thing

I want to thank you for at least beating to my first sip of coffee before you hit me with the cheaters. I finished up Portugal and Poland this week, but I did have my eye on Clairvoyance!! Also, that Mawiga from Chile is something else. So many good bands there!!!! What an underrated metal country!!!

Regarding your first commercial: the client may likely think the most likely feel the music is too loud. They usually want their message front and center.

    Keep up the good work!

Nice ad. As always great album picks. I can always count on you to serve me some good death and black metal😁🤘Abigail was especially good. Thanks.

i dont put Slaughter to Prevail to play at home/car, but the show was really fun minus the amount of cellphones that was really annoying, they somehow bring the K-pop audience, amazing for money but was really annoying. Abigail Williams still exist? Cool, they are considered OG now? im pretty sure they where myspace era, so almost 20 years, shit im old

Maybe one day i can as well šŸ˜‚šŸ‘Š.
More shrooms for da people is da shit for sure 😁

Love that Abigail Williams cover. Part of me wonders if I subconsciously listen to metal so much because the covers are so eerily gorgeous.

It seems clear to me that Daron Malakian was the much better songwriter in System of a Down, but Serj was the much better vocalist. A shame they can't work out their differences because they were clearly the yin to the other's yang.

Metal commercial!!! I approve the Goatwhore shirt; I use mushrooms as nootropics for mental clarity.
I saw Abigail Williams a while back in San Francisco and they were great, I completly forgot they came up with a new album.
    Thanks for the video brother.

Bush is really underrated imo. Say what you want, dad rock, butt rock… But the guy simply knows how to write HOOKS.

And if you ask me, hooks are the thing most missing in many metal albums, no matter the genre.
