I had no issues getting tickets during the pre-sale for the 1st Toronto show, I had the fan club code. Ticket prices were reasonable, just had to pay $75 in Ticketmaster fees. This is the result of Ticketmaster having a monopoly on concert ticket sales…..Despite this grumbling, I am thrilled to see Maiden again, have not missed a Toronto show since the 80's; tickets were approximately $25.00 then (now I feel old). Maiden always puts on a great show !! Up the IRONS!!!

Yes Dogma is A Kiss wannabe licensing and marketing scheme on a very low level but at least they make good hoodrats for the Uppity fans in the cultural enrichment genre.

Pearl Jam was right about Ticketmaster in the 90s. I refuse to support Ticketmaster, scalpers, or bands that use a service that exists solely to rip off their fans.

I pulled out of going to see maiden with my children due to a jump in ticket price. Seen this great band many times. Good luck to them but unlikely to see them again. Too many good bands are emerging and it seems increasly this is from the hardcore scene which has the raw energy now that 80s and 90s metal had. It's time to move on but reflect on happy times.

Ticketmaster are clearly evil, but the band and their management do have control over this too. Bands have the ability to get Ticketmaster to not do this. Someone in the management dropped the ball here, or Ticketmaster just decided to ignore the band's wishes and do their own thing.

Yep, the cheapest seats in the artist pre-sale were 200 for the back row of the nosebleed seats. $800 per ticket and not even on the floor. How is gouging the "resale" price not scalping???
