Without Ace. Probably Perhaps the band wouldn't exist, even with the makeup and costumes. Ace gave the band its sound. Whether you like it or not! Paul isn't good at playing guitar, he's just an entertainer and singer. Gene should be more respectful. Well, it's too late now, he's an old man!

Sometimes old people go into a form of denial about how old they are. They experience this delusion that they are still young and strong when they are not. And their peers and even children seem younger to them than they actually are. My mom definitely has this. She can't accept that she does not have much time left. It really sucks. But none of us get to be here forever. Dying at age 76 doesn't have the same sting as dying young. Ace did make some bad choices. Anyone who claims to have lived without making any of those is not being honest. When you get old you have weak bones. Simple as that. Gene is about to go too. Won't be long. Ace just won't be around to make a wisecrack about it.

Disrespectful A F, considering that Ace admitted he had struggled with substance abuse and overcame it, over a decade ago. This should be celebrated and respected by someone whose entire greedy empire owes everything to Ace. Without Ace, Gene would have not been the successful rock legend he is. KISS's output without Ace is pathetic. Ace's input and SMOKIN' (literally) guitar is the factor that made KISS musically exceptional. Without it they would have been painted clowns with just a gimmick. They have been making millions off of the Ace era without Ace. Painting the guitar tech up like Ace, who learned his licks (vomit).

How bout those solo albums? Ace's flew off the shelves. It was (and is), critically acclaimed, celebrated and awesome! As for the other members solo garbage (sorry Peter)… I remember seeing those horrible albums in the bargain bin for years…They, without a doubt, we're a huge disappointment & sucked. Instead of opening Gene & Pauls eyes to recognize what legions of fans already voiced, "more Ace" they were humiliated and bitter. They hated Peter for Beth and Ace for "being best" 😂.
Ace is an undisputed guitar legend – more celebrated and influential than Gene… by far. It so obviously burns Gene up.
Over the years, Gene's competitively ego-driven need to point out Ace's struggles, without recognizing how he overcame them, are revealing. Gene has always been a judgemental jerk 0ff, sex-addict, egomaniac;
But the infuriatingly tasteless timing of his comments disrespecting Ace and tarnishing his legacy, is totally offensive to anyone that understands how much he owes to him.
RIP ACE.

Not abig Kiss Fan ,but i saw ACE and his band Frehleys comet at L'Amour in Brooklyn ny .It was A great show.Simmons and Stanley should try to have some class and Repect ACE and his family along with his legacy .Stop being TURDS!!!!

I used to think the "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" commercials were funny until the first time I hit the ground and didn't bounce right back up. Anyone can be seriously injured from a fall but it's especially dangerous for the elderly. Someone can be in relatively good health for their age but fall and break a hip or vertebrae and go downhill from there. And, you can certainly fall down the stairs or trip and hit your head on something and die, even if you don't have a history of drug abuse. It's easy to miss the last step or last rung of the ladder and go down, especially as your sense of balance declines with advancing age.

Gene just needs to let Ace rest, whatever is his thoughts should have been brought up when Ace was alive, also he just needs to let go of the past and live his last years in peace. Ace is gone so whatever he has, needs to stop.

In fairness, Gene does make a valid point, but that same point, is otherwise known as our life's journey. We all have one, and everything in life matters. Now on counter point, Gene's comment is a holyer than thou statement, and is implying that because Gene thinks his "Clean Lifestyle" makes him better or at least, less likely to have such a tragedy as happened to Ace, he's dead wrong. What happened to Ace was a simple accident that occurs in illness or old age, and quite common. Accidents like this can happen to anyone at anytime in their lives. While I love Gene and respect him on several lvls, Gene is a man, and has his own demons following him. When his time comes and it most certainly will, I hope he can finally see the light, that to put oneself on a pedestal and believe in your own self-righteousness that because he didn't drink or take drugs, that he should not forget his own sins that he committed with many people over the years, and to understand that to be human we are all taken down, we all die, and no one is righteous, we are all wicked and as filthy rags before the lord God. Think about that Gene. He who is without sin cast the first stone.
